Description: A tall woman with long, long, dark, and wavy hair, Carmen Sandiego is the perfect example of a femme fatale and an enigma to the world. Sporting her signature red fedora at all times, Carmen's ability to elude any form of law enforcement while leading one of the most powerful crime syndicates in the entire Unus Mundus Network has earned her the reputation as the world's greatest thief. Wanted for countless heists and robberies across the world, Carmen's illegal activities range from the impossible to the ... odd, though every heist leaves the same calling card: nonlethal force.
Occupation: Master thief and leader of the Villains' International League of Extraordinary-Crime (V.I.L.E.)
Association: Carmen Sandiego has worked independently of the Dimensional Warriors for some time, and even against them in some cases. After being blackmailed by the true villain Lee Jordan, Carmen was forced to act against the Dimensional Warriors while they attempted to save her father, only to fail to rescue him before his death at Lee Jordan's hands. Now free of the leverage he had of her, Carmen has joined the Dimensional Warriors with a vendetta to kill the man who murdered her father -- the first she'll have ever committed.
Background: Shrouded in mystery, very little is known about Carmen Sandiego's past save for the identity of her father, a famous architect named Malcolm Avalon. After Carmen's disappearance and a change in her identity as a teenager, she was declared deceased and all ties to her family severed. For years, Carmen has worked the underground and the above ground to pull off the most amazing heists and thefts across Gaia, ranging from valuable trinkets to entire statues in public fora.
Assistance: Carmen Sandiego has the entire mass of resources of V.I.L.E. at her command, as well as her personal experience in subterfuge and espionage.
