- Mage Armor - This spell reinforces a single target's magical defenses for a short time. For (Mage Level) rounds, magic soak on 1 target's armor is raised to 150%.

Shiva – The Winter Goddess
Description: Shiva is a beautiful woman of tinted blue skin and long flowing blue hair. Her eyes are the only warm part on a frigid appearing body. Her blue tunic is laced with frost that holds it’s form tight to her body as she moves, leaving particles of ice flowing off of her like sparkles. Shiva (in this mythology) is the goddess of winter, a powerful entity that can halt even the mightiest warriors. She Is wise, knowing, but her beauty comes with deadly power to those who scorn her. Despite this, she is a kind woman who favors the bravery of those who would challenge her, cold determination in the face of unspeakable odds. She is only violent or destructive when called upon to be so.
Guardian Force HP: 15,000 * Level
Out of Combat Effects: Shiva is mistress of ice and winter, and as such has a certain control over the environment, being capable of lowering the temperature, freezing liquids, cooling the air and materials, and rendering metal brittle, skills which can be used to grant a +5 (per level) aid in forging.
Every mission, grants Blizzara II x 2 and Chillga x1

Summon Attack: Diamond Dust
Shiva creates a wave of ice that washes over her opponents on the battlefield. As the ice storm thickens, the ice crystalizes together into daggers which rock her opponents for 15,000 damage * level. This freezing effect can also freeze enemies with a 10% chance (per level) as the water in the air is drawn to them before solidifying.

Effect: For every level of Monster Training Rinoa has, There's is a 1% chance that Angelo will jump in to help with Either Angelo Recover and Angelo Reverse.
-- Angelo Recover: Activate at the start of Rinoa's turn and use Cure on any member that has been hurt. Critically wounded character are healed first(Monster Training Level: 1-15: Cure, 15-30: Cura, 30-50: Curaga)
-- Angelo Reverse: Activate at the start of Rinoa's turn and uses a phoenix Down on any koed party member

- Power of Love
Pre-Requisite: Significant Other
Description: An odd trait, this indicates that the character has a significant attachment to another living being. When the other person is nearby, they gain benefits, and may even live solely due to the other persons presence. Should the other person be in danger, this will grant situational bonuses due to passion. Should this relationship end, this trait will grant penalties until it is removed by a gm.

*Free Trait SIF: Improved Magic Damage I
Associated Statistic: Spirit
Description: A taker of this feat wields greater raw arcane might than most, the caster's chanting intensifying the strength of a spell.
Effect: Increases the Magic Damage modifier from *5 to *6.
Example: A character has 50 spirit and level 5 Arcana. Their magic damage, ordinarily, is 1*10*5 = 50. It is now 1*10*6 = 60.

*Free Trait Feat: Servant (Angelo)
Associated Statistic: Willpower
Description: An NPC is constantly with your character to assist you. Servants can not take feats. A person can have multiple servants, but each servant must be built separately (one set of feats affect servant A, one set of feats affect servant B)
Effect: The servant character has 700 stat points, but can earn more experience via the master character taking feats or opting to give earned mission xp to the servant instead of the primary character. Every time you take this feat, your servant gets an additional 150 stat points. They are allowed 1 Feat every 200 experience points up to a maximum of 5. Only 1 of these can be an SIF. This does not include racial bonuses or the single 'free' feat all things are allowed.


*Feat 1 (Free) - Limit Break
Associated Statistic: Willpower
Description: When in dire situations, a character is able to push him/herself past normal limits, putting a good portion or even all of their skill, energy, and power into a single few seconds in an attempt to overcome an obstacle, whether it be environmental, hostile, or otherwise.
Effect: This feat allows for Abilities to be categorized as Limit Breaks. Abilities that are categorized as such are given a bonus to strength according to the tier of Limit Break they are assigned as, from Level 1 to Level 4. A character's "Limit Gauge" is 100% of their HP. When a character takes damage, their gauge is filled at a 1:2 ratio to the damage actually incurred (after soak, reductions, etc.). When a character's Limt Gauge is filled, they have access to the next level of Limit Breaks. When a character drops below 0 HP, the character's Limit Gauges are decreased by 20% of the gathered amount, the damage that caused a KO is not added or calculated in any way. The more Limit Gauges a character has, the higher level of Limit Break Ability they can use. 1 Gauge = Level 1, 3 Gauges = Level 3, etc. Within the custom ability system limit breaks are allowed to exceed the custom 'limits' damage may exceed the level restriction of any limit break and status effects can have 1 level higher than the abilities allowed.


*Feat 2 (100 XP) - Wizard
Associated Statistic:
Description: Wizards are generally one of the highest, most revered types of mages. They are talented in general Arcana, making them versatile, powerful, and wise. To become a wizard, one usually is formally educated, whether by an organization or a mentor.
Effect: + to Arcana magic rolls, + to Concentration, Decrypt Language, Artisan: Arcane Science, and Monster Lore

*Feat 3 (200 XP) SIF - Enhanced Magic Affinity I
Associated Statistic: Magic Affinity
Description: A character with this feat bears a natural intuition of how magic works, able to hone their spellcasting to nigh-surgical precision.
Effect: For every 10 points in Magic Affinity, the character gains +2 to roll to cast Magic, using the Magic Attack Roll.
Example: The character has an 80 Magic. The character normally would roll +8. However, the character with this Feat would roll +16 instead.

*Feat 4 (300 XP) - School of the Lion
Associated Class: Wizard
Prerequisite:
Description: A Lion-branded wizard is brave, charismatic, chivalrous, and daring, and will gladly thrust themselves into the heat of the moment in order to protect others or follow their instincts down a path until its end. They are stubborn in nature and refuse to back down from a challenge.
Effect: A Wizard with this feat is able to use his/her Magic Defense in lieu of another's in a "Cover"-type action, up to (Mage Level / 2) times per round.

*Feat 5 (400 XP) - Trance
Associated Statistic: Health
Description: The unyielding spirit of some characters allows them to go into a trance-like, or overdrive-like state, allowing them to push their bodies above and beyond that which is normally possible. This state is very short lived, but is capable of turning the tides in battle.
Effect: A character's "Trance" state is given an additional 250 Stat Points to be used at their discretion. They may also take 1 additional non-SIF feat. "Trance" may be taken more than once. The "Trance" state lasts for 1d3+2 rounds. A character's "Trance" gauge is their HP. When a character takes damage, their Trance gauge fills at a 1:1 ratio to the damage actually incurred (after soak, reductions, etc.). When a character takes 2 Trance Gauges worth of damage, the character may enter a "Trance" state. When a character is KOed, they lose 20% of the trance guage gathered. The damage delt that caused them to be KOed is not counted in any way.

*Feat 6 (500 XP) SIF - Improved Magic I
Associated Statistic: Intelligence
Description: Some of a mage's talent is natural, bearing a deeper mental expanse than most, having a greater quantity of mana to expend.
Effect: Increases the character's Magic Points (MP), changing the modifier from *5 to *6.
Example: The character has an Intelligence of 70. 70*5=350. With the modifier adjusted by this Feat, the change is 70*6=420 so the character has 420 MP.

*Feat 7 (600 XP) - Aethereal Conduit
Associated Statistic: Magic Affinity
Description: A character exhibits a stronger connection to spirit energy or psionic power.
Effect: + Magic Affinity (put in temporary). This does not affect Spell Points.

*Feat 8 (700 XP) - Mind Shield
Associated Statistic: Willpower
Description: The character exhibits stronger-than-average human resistance to mental and spiritual influence.
Effect: + to Will (Temporary). This grants +5 to the Mental Defense roll, as well as improves magical damage soak.

*Feat 9 (800 XP) SIF - Improved Magic Damage II
Associated Statistic: Spirit
Description: The sheer intensity of a spell chant by a taker of this feat bears even greater arcane force than the last.
Effect: Increases the Magic Damage modifier from *6 to *7.
Example: A character has 50 spirit and level 5 Arcana. Their magic damage, ordinarily, is 1*10*5 = 50. It is now 1*10*7 = 70.

*Feat 10 (900XP) - Animal Friendship
Associated Statistic: Willpower
Description: The character exhibits a natural empathy with other creatures, and is able to communicate with them (not verbally or telepathically) and understand or influence their behavior.
Effect: + to Monster Trainer checks or dealing with Animals.

*Feat 11(1000XP) - Nerdy (Military Science, Monster Lore, Mythology)
Associated Statistic: Intelligence
Description: You love knowing things and it shows. Whether it be from being a bookworm, a webcrawler, a devoted student, you have a great deal of knowledge about a few subjects.
Effect: The character receives a + bonus to three knowledge skills of choice and these skills must be listed when the feat is taken.

*Feat 12(1200XP) SIF - Improved Hit Points I
Associated Statistic: Health
Description: This character is hardy and full of vitality. S/he can go longer, harder, faster, and take more harm than other characters.
Effect: Boosts HP. The modifier of *40 is changed to *60.
Example: A character with 70 Health usually has 2800 HP (70 * 40 = 2800), but with this feat their HP becomes 4200 HP (70 * 60 = 4200).

*Feat 13(1400XP) - Trance II

*Feat 14(1500XP) - The Old Fashioned Way
Associated Statistic: Luck
Description: 'Eyyyyy! The golden touch has the ability to kickstart simple machinery. The character either hits or kicks the piece of equipment in question. The equipment can range from a simple mechanical assembly to a security computer system.
Effect: Once per three days a character can literally kickstart some piece of simple to moderately complicated equipment. This will NOT work on dimensional or other high order technologies such as space ship engines, warp cores, etc.

*Feat 15(1600XP) SIF - Enhanced Willpower I
Associated Statistic: Willpower
Description: A taker of this feat bears a great sense of will, able to tighten his/her focus as well as deny a spellcaster's power with natural effort.
Effect: The Mental Defense Roll changes from +1/10 points in Willpower to +2/10 points in Willpower.
Example: The character has a 50 Willpower. The bonus is normally +5. In this case it becomes +10.
