Sector 2: P5B

Southwest of Stafford City is the central-northern Pacific Ocean sector. This mass of open water is often the formation zone of storm surges that wash east into Osea, and is home to many island chains and archaepelagos that are used for civilian or military staging bases, including the Sand Island Air Force Base.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
(Even Number) High Ceiling, normal conditions
(Odd Number) Low ceiling, all attack rolls suffer a -5 from clouds.

1-10: Tropical Depression - Strong winds and torrential rainfall make maneuvering very difficult. All defense rolls are reduced by -10 and each round party members must roll Vehicle Operation, DC 80, or be nicked by lightning dealing 1 AP damage to one Hard Point. Fuel costs are increased by 25%.
11-40: All rockets have a 20% chance of missing due to the storm, even if they would otherwise hit the target (guided missiles like AAM's work fine). Your travel costs are raised by 10% due to the hindering weather.
41-60: Light Wind/Rain - All rockets have a 5% chance of missing due to the storm, even if they would otherwise hit the target (guided missiles like AAM's work fine).
61-100: Clear Skies - no modifiers.
