Sector 3: P5C

The Wadsworth Coast area is southeast of November City, forming the Forster Bay area leading towards the city of Shannon on its eastern edge. A heavily fortified area forming one of the coastal defense zones against southern incursion from Leasath, the Wadsworth Coast is home to several crucial Osean energy refineries and strategic shipyards.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
(Even Number) High Ceiling; no modifier.
(Odd Number) Low ceiling; all attack rolls suffer a -5 penalty due to dense cloud cover.

1-40: Rainy/Windy - All rockets have a 5% chance of missing due to the storm, even if they would otherwise hit the target (guided missiles like AAM's work fine).
41-100: Clear skies; no modifier.

Sub Hunting

Wolf packs of Leasathian submarines are reported prowling the sea between Carranza and South Osea. These predators can be used as tactical launch platforms or to interdict Osean ships and transports.

Reputation Points: +2 per submarine destroyed. -5 if an SSB-19 Mk. VI IRBM strikes its target.

--------------------------------------------------

Composition

3x Leasathian SSN-14 attack fleet submarines

Tactical Overview
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Sink the Leasathian submarines.

A set of three Leasathian SSN-14 attack fleet submarines has emerged at sea for routine maintenance before submersion. The submarines will be available to attack for five rounds; after that, they will initiate emergency dive and be unavailable for targeting.

The SSN-14 does not carry surface-to-air missiles, but its deck guns can be used in an anti-aircraft role. At the end of each round, each submarine will attack a single target. It rolls 1d100+12 and deals 2 AP damage.

When only one SSN-14 attack fleet submarine remains, it will initiate an emergency launch protocol. At the end of the round where the SSN-14 is the last, it will launch a single SSB-19 Mk. VI Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile towards the Osean coastline. The missile will take three rounds to reach its target inland. At the end of the third round, it will strike.

Reconnaissance Interference

Intelligence reports suggest there's a Leasathian high-altitude reconnaissance plane flying in this region. It has not been confirmed. Find and destroy it.

Reputation Points: +2 if target is destroyed.

----------------------------------------

Composition

1x Leasathian NR-92 Cucuy high-altitude reconnaissance fighter

Tactical Overview
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Destroy the Leasathian NR-92 Cucuy.

The NR-92 Cucuy flies in the lower stratosphere, outside the operating range of standard aircraft. A Perception check, DC140, is required to find it. The NR-92 will only be in range for six rounds. At the end of the sixth ground, it will withdraw and the engagement will end.

Once the NR-92 is identified, it is able to be targeted, but to attack the NR-92 in a vehicle not considered Aerospace will require the pilot to "stall out" in the atmosphere. "Stalling out" kills the engines to a vehicle and sends it into freefall; a pilot must pass a Vehicle Operation check, DC 180, to recover from a stall. The pilot can make this check once a round, but will splash into the sea after five rounds if a successful check is not made. A pilot can choose to eject from the plane, but will have to be rescued by a separate mission.

Name: Leasathian NR-92 Cucuy
Armor Points: 12
Defense Roll: 1d100+16

AWACS Escort

An Osean Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems aircraft has been damaged in another region and is bugging out back to base. Leasathian fighters are pursuing it, intending to down the aircraft and potentially recover its data.

Reputation Points: +3 if AWACS reaches its destination; -3 if it does not. +2 if all enemy fighters are destroyed before AWACS reaches its destination.

----------------------------------------

Composition

Allies
1x Osean E-767 SkyEye AWACS

Enemies
Leasathian combat air patrol fighters

Tactical Overview
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Prevent enemy fighters from destroying Osean E-767 SkyEye AWACS.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Destroy all enemy fighters.

The Osean E-767 SkyEye AWACS is on a beeline to the Wadsworth Coast. It will take ten rounds to arrive. It will reach its destination at the end of the tenth round.

Leasathian fighters in this engagement prioritize the AWACS and will target it at every opportunity. When it is a Leasathian fighter's turn, roll 1d2; it will attack the party members on a 2, and it will attack them randomly. On a one, it will attack the E-767 SkyEye AWACS.

If the Osean E-767 SkyEye is destroyed, the rest of the Leasathian fighters will withdraw and the engagement will end.

For fighter complement, roll 1d6+2 and fill from the top down.
