GM
Game Masters, those who control the game, set the stage, plot out the players' demise or success. They control the game, quite simply, but still play within the rules.

Dimensional Warriors
The Dimensional Warriors are a group of beings brought together one way or another across space and time, to fight for the good of all. This means fighting against beings such as Giygas, the heads of organizations such as an intergalatic arms-dealer, and many more.

Fate Points
Fate Points allow characters to 'influence the fate of their character', sometimes this is preventing their death, other times, assisting others, or just doing something really great. Whatever it is.. it is going to be rare. Fate points are earned, and are extremely difficult to earn. They are not handed out as often as experience.. nowhere near that often, and often take extreme choices in RP to earn. However, note that these are circumstantial, and depends on the GM. Also note that every character in DW starts with 3 fate points.

Zenith Stones
Zenith Stones are special stones that were given to the DW group. All characters are considered to have one once it is determined they are in the group. Not much is known about what Zenith Stones actually are, it is just known by the group in general that they are needed in order to pull Giygas(explained in a later section) to this plane of existence, so that he may be damaged/attacked/fought.

Giygas
The embodiment of the force of Destruction that DW is primarily set against. His armies total in the millions, starmen his primary agents for destruction, but this force also commands others who seek power. The ultimate goal of this being is thought to be the destruction of all.

Null Space
The liquid energy boundry between dimensions, typically associated with the color purple as it is the only wavelength of light reflected. Null space prevents dimensions from crashing together due to gravity.

Dimensional Rift
The result of two dimensions overlapping with each other, usually due to an absence of null space in an area. Typically purple due to the colour of the null space boundary being breached, but some forces potent enough to influence dimensions may override this. A dimensional rift can be stepped into while it is forming, however anything caught between a fully formed rift is sheered apart between the two dimensions.

Dimensional Cascade
Effectively the result of a large scale dimensional rift, a Dimensional Cascade is the resulting ripples in Null Space creating many smaller rifts. These can also cause dimensional anomalies to form, and are generally regarded as a catastrophic event.

Dimensional Collapse
When the Brane Wall (defining boundry) of a dimension breaks apart sufficiently, a dimension begins collapsing. Stable rifts called Dimensional Tears form, and creatures made of Null Space (null space entities) roam freely. The physical laws of the dimension unravel until it reaches singularity and the dimension is torn apart at the seams.

Called Shots
Generally a called shot is the same as it is in the game of billiards(pool), you make it known you are targetting a specific portion/area/part of an enemy, and attack that portion, dealing extra damage. In the past, this has been a *3 multiplier of the end damage.

Sneak attakcs
Like Called Shots, sneak attacks are special. They are usually achieved by successfully sneaking up on an enemy, through whatever means. This, like called shots, will usually result in a *3 multiplier of damage.

Status Effects
These are what they sound like.. a temporary or permanent status ailment of a character, which influences their actions, their health or even their base stats. Aside from negative effects, there are also positives, usually referred to as 'buffs', these effects will assist the character. Status effects come in five severities: mild, moderate, acute, chronic, and terminal; each either getting more worse, better.. or in the example of the status effect 'Offense', result in differing effects.

Critical hits
The one moment in which your aim is so good you deal extra damage. These kinds of attacks can be lethal, dealing a great amount of damage very quickly. The base roll, when a critical hit is landed is 1d4+1. This can be improved in certain circumstances through weapon modifications or custom abilities.

Critical botches
The one moment in which an enemy fails, and fails hard. This can be an attack or a dodge.. either way, it usually spells defeat for the enemy. If it is a dodge, your attacks deal critical damage, as described above with a dice roll of 1d4+1, which usually cannot be modified. If it is an attack, any number of things can happen, with these things usually depending on the GM. Lastly, if the enemy failed to dodge an attack which inflicts status, this will usually bump up the status by 1 severity.

'Areas'
Areas. This is usually both depending on the GM, and the general area in which things occur. They can be any length.. height.. distance, but whatever the size, it costs a round to move across a single area at a time. This amount may be modifiable per the GM, but usually remains the same.

DCs
Dice Check, what DC stands for, is how GMs determine whether a goal is met, an action succeeds, or what have you. They can vary in size, depending on the task at hand, but are usually set within a possible range for a character.

Research
Is what it sounds like.. gathering info over an extended(or not) period of time, with an end goal or achievement. Usually this is done with Gather Info skill rolls, though depending on the subject matter, Knowledge skills could also be used.

How do I shop?
This is either done behind-the-scenes or during regular rp. You find a store, walk in, and purchase something. There really isn't all that much more to it than that, aside from the fact that you can only make a purchase at a certain level of equipment.

Purchase levels
Purchase levels. These are the levels or stages at which equipment can be purchased. The best of course cannot be purchased right away, or the game would become unbalanced. Likewise, certain grades of material have skill level requirements.

How do I craft?
In order to craft something that's already on the item lists, you'll need proper materials, as well as the proper Artisan skill. Artisan skills are listed in the Skills subforum underneath Character Creation. Artisan rolls use the Spirit statistic and can take anywhere from a day to a year depending on what you're making.

If you want to make an original item, you should ask a GM and they can figure it out from there.

What is dual wielding?
Dual wielding is what it sounds like. Using/wielding two items at once. This can have benefits, but also costs. For swords, this cost is in accuracy to-hit, as well as dodge. For benefits, this means twice the number of hits. It is done with an advanced skill, purchasable at varying levels depending on the weapon, and subsequent purchases of later advanced skills can improve the costs(as in make them lower).
