Sector 1: P5A

The skies above the tropical Forester Bay, the skirmish zone nearest Starlight Cove. Occasional small scale naval skirmishes break out across the region and a slow boil war for air supremacy takes place in the skies. Due to the proximity to the Osean coastline, only a few fighters tend to break through the front lines, more often than not these are disoriented fighter groups or a small naval battle group.

WEATHER CONDITIONS:

(Even Number): High ceiling: A high cloud cover (if any) means
(Odd Number): Low ceiling: All attack rolls suffer a -5 penalty due to clouds.

1-20: Storm - All rockets have a 20% chance of missing due to the storm, even if they would otherwise hit the target (guided missiles like AAM's work fine). Your travel costs are raised by 10% due to the hindering weather. Every round, your aircraft has a 10% chance of taking a random hard point in damage from stray thunder.
21-50: Light wind/rain - All rockets have a 5% chance of missing due to the storm, even if they would otherwise hit the target (guided missiles like AAM's work fine).
50+: Fine weather - No modifiers

Naval Convoy Defense

An Osean supply convoy requires air escort to Carranza. Predatory flights from the Leasathian air force threaten this critical resource line supporting the Carranzan southern front.

Reputation Points: +2 per Osean Superfreighter that completes its mission.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Composition

Allied
3x Osean Superfreighters
1x Osean CCV-32 Oswald light cruiser

Enemy
∞ Leasathian Su-33 Flanker-D (at beginning of mission, roll "In Formation" check according to entry below. Each time that "wave" is defeated, more will appear.)
4 waves of Leasathian F-14B Bombcat (roll "In Formation" check at beginning of each wave.)
1x Leasathian CVN-28 Esperanza nuclear aircraft carrier

Tactical Overview
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Defend the Osean Superfreighters for 10 rounds, until they reach their destination.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Splash all Leasathian fighters.

The mission is failed if all three Osean Superfreighters are destroyed.

The CVN-28 Esperanza is 8 Areas away from the Osean convoy's travel route. The Esperanza will not take part in the engagement.

When the mission starts, Leasathian fighters are 2 Areas away from the convoy. F-14B Bombcats will ONLY target the Osean Superfreighters. Su-33 Flanker-Ds will target defensive aircraft and the Oswald.

At the end of each round, the Oswald will fire a surface-to-air missile at a random F-14B Bombcat. It rolls 1d100+8 and deals 6 AP damage.

A Bombcat's "Anti-Fortification Bomb" attack will threaten all three Superfreighters.

Naval Convoy Assault

High-altitude scouting reports indicate a Leasathian supply convoy is en route to one of its battle groups further into the Pacific Ocean. Separated from its port-of-call and its destination fleet, the convoy is relying on a low signature and Leasathian combat air patrols to shield it from attack.

Reputation Points: +2 for each destroyed freighter, +1 for each sunk destroyer.

--------------------------------------------------

Composition

5x Leasathian Freighters
2x Leasathian LSV-82 destroyers
Leasathian combat air patrol fighters

Tactical Overview
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Destroy the Leasathian freighters.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Destroy the Leasathian destroyers.

There's an 8-round window the Leasathian freighters are far enough away from its port of origin and its destination fleet to be attacked. If the freighters are not destroyed within that window, the mission will end. Reputation points will be awarded for the successfully destroyed ships.

At the end of each round, each LSV-82 destroyer will fire a surface-to-air missile at a random party member. It rolls 1d100+6 and deals 6 AP damage.

-----------------------------------------------------

For fighter complement, roll 1d5+5 and fill from the top-down.

Battle Group

High-altitude reconnaissance has revealed the location of a Leasathian battle group in this sector. This cluster of ships represents an imminent danger to the Osean coast, and must be eliminated.

Reputation Points: +5 for sinking LSS-42 Missile Cruiser; +2 for each additional ship sunk; -3 for each cruise missile that reaches its target.

-----------------------------------------------

Composition

1x Leasathian LSS-42 Missile Cruiser
3x Leasathian LSV-82 Destroyers
5x Leasathian LCC-09 Light Cruisers
1x Leasathian LSB-12 Command Cruiser
Leasathian combat air patrol fighters

Tactical Overview

The LSS-42 Missile Cruiser is preparing to launch cruise missiles into Osean seaside fortification. When the engagement begins, it has 5 rounds until its payload is ready to deliver. At the beginning of round six, it will launch six powerful cruise missiles.

When the cruise missiles are launched, they will reach their targets in 3 rounds. At the end of the third round, any remaining missiles will strike their targets.

At the end of each round, the LSV-82 Destroyers and LCC-09 Light Cruisers will each launch a single surface-to-air missile at an enemy target. The LSV-82 Destroyers roll 1d100+12 and deal 6 AP damage; the LCC-09 Light Cruisers roll 1d100+4 and deal 4 AP damage.

The LSB-12 Command Cruiser does not participate in the engagement. If it is sunk, all other Leasathian rolls suffer a -10 penalty; the Missile Cruiser's prep time extends by three rounds; and any cruise missiles in the air at the time of the Command Cruiser's destruction are delayed to their destination by two rounds.

For fighter complement, roll 1d5+5 and fill from the top down.
