<<> Character Information <>>

-= Basics =-

Name: Mauhúr, more often refered to as 'Uruk' or 'The Uruk'
Race: Uruk-Hai
Height: 7'1"
Weight: 247 lbs
Appearance: Tall, muscled, and with black skin [as all uruks are]; Mauhur has arms that are longer than that of an average uruk's (not freakishly long, but noticable all the same), and he is not as heavily muscled as most uruks (Closer to that of a [very] heavily muscled human than that of an average Uruk). His head is shaved.
Eye Color: Muddy Brown
Hair Color: Black
Notable Features: [I'm assuming that this means features that distinguish him from other uruks, not the average human] Mauhur has light scarring on his right shoulder.

-= Personality =-

Favorite Food: Meat. Raw, cooked, fresh, spoiled, human, orc, it's all the same to him. When given a choice, he prefers his meat raw, and reasonably fresh.
Likes: War. War is good. War is life. Such is his uruk-hai mindset.
Dislikes: Weaklings, Idleness.
Favorite Color: Black
Fears: Fear? From an uruk-hai? Hah! [in reality, however, Mauhur fears living in a world that no longer needs him and in which he becomes irrelevant, a world without war]

-= Background =-

History: Mauhur is an Uruk-Hai crossbowman who served in the armies of Saruman. He served the White Wizard faithfully, and became exceptionally skilled in the use of crossbows during his training. He also exhibited above-average intellegence and reasoning, both of which made him an exceptional captain. Mauhur also became known among the Uruk-Hai for his exceptional sense of smell, which made him a decent tracker.
Mauhur had just begun his career as an Uruk-Hai captain when his force was destroyed by Eomer and his Rohirrim warriors. Mauhur was slightly more alert than his peers due to a faint smell of horse, and therefore was more capable at surviving the ambush.
Mauhur fled into Fangorn Forest. After seeing his fellow Uruks meet their ends in the forest, Mauhur quickly became better at survival by analysing the causes of their deaths. However, although he was skilled enough to survive longer than his fellows, he would not have lasted long. However, Mauhur soon escaped the fangorn, and was eventually found by a patrol of Mordor orcs.
After hearing of Saruman's fall, Mauhur pledged his allegience to Sauron. He was stationed at the Black Gate for a considerable amount of time. Gaurd duty was uneventful for him, so he forcibly requested to join some of the outgoing patrols. This is how he managed to survive Sauron's fall, as he was nowhere near Mordor at the time. He soon felt Sauron's destruction in his heart, as the other orcs in the patrol. They were all devestated, and soon found that they now led a meaningless existance, as they had lived to serve Sauron. They soon died of despair, but Mauhur did not. He was still an Uruk-Hai of Saruman at heart, and he had learned to live with the loss [instead of simply serving Sauron instead] during his time at the Black Gate. Mauhur weathered the death of Sauron with relative ease, but he faced a larger problem at hand: not only were there no more wars, but he was unable to join any functional society- the humans, elves, and dwarves all hated the Uruks, and the orcs themselves had long since decayed beyond that point. Living but in despair, he traveled back to Mordor to see the destruction first-hand, as well as to contemplate his life. Upon arriving at the ruins of Barad-Dur, Mauhur smelled something... strange. Curious as to what it could be, he followed the scent. It was incredibly illusive, but Mauhur, now recognizing the scent of sorcery, followed it desperately for hours, thinking that his master Saruman may yet be alive. When he reached the source of the scent, he found it to be a pool of dark magic, created by the residual will of Sauron. Mauhur stared into the depths of the pool, and willed for an escape from his existance. The raw energy proved to be incredibly malleable, and formed a brief portal. Without hesitation, Mauhur leapt into the portal, believing it to be the Will of Saruman himself, one last gift to his loyal servant.
Notable Accomplishments:
Training (If any): Mauhur was trained in the use of crossbows while he served in Saruman's armies.
