Name: *Has none, refers to itself as various references to its makeup of ice, snow, storm, etc.
Race: Ice Spirit(Youkai)
Height: About 7', but spindly/thin.
Weight: Average, for a man made out of ice, of human size. If it melts somewhat, may be less.
Appearance: A tall 'snow man', features indeterminate. In alternate form, same, but chiselled Ice form, features still vague, but not shifting.
Eye Color: Ice-blue glowing portions of his 'face'.
Hair Color: None.
Notable Features: Sentient frost.

-= Personality =-

Favorite Food: Probably consumes moisture for survival, and cold helps preserve its form.
Likes: Snow-capped mountains, tundra, anywhere sufficiently cold/wet enough for it to be in total comfort.
Dislikes: Dry or hot locales. A steamy jungle is a mixed blessing, providing plenty of moisture, but too much heat. A desert is the ultimate bane.
Favorite Color: Cyan blue.
Fears: Losing cohesion and dispersing <Dying>

-= Background =-

History: How this entity came into existence is a bit of a mystery, actually. It exists on a sparsely populated ice planet, in the relative backwater of the galaxy. The majority of the planet consists of flat tundras, towering ice-covered mountains, hurricane-sized ice storms, and other inhospitable threats. The only value the planet has is in its ore production, and also as an export of ice(water), which the planet has in abundance. The majority of the planet's water, moreover, is 'fresh' by our standards. Scattered colonies of miners exist, heavily entrenched and shielded as best they can be from the elements, and the handful of somewhat dangerous natural beasts that linger on the planet. All have adapted to the harsh cold, and biting winds. Legends persist in the miner communities of a strange 'spirit' that exists in the blizzards...some say it -is- a blizzard. It has appeared to them on rare occasion, sometimes thought to guide straying miners to their doom, others say it guides them to the safety of the colony. It has never been proven to exist, however.
It's first memories are simply of existing. Being surrounded by one of the planet's harshest blizzards on record, one that almost encompassed the entire planet. This was quite some time ago, decades, perhaps longer, as time has had little meaning to it. The seasons, such as they are, are very similiar...the main difference being noticed in the few surviving varieties of animal and plant life that exist in the mountains. In the 'summer', many species advance into the plains in the relative 'mild' period of the year, and in the 'winter', they retreat back into the caves of the mountains. The being is part of the storm, or at least feels a strong kinship with it. The cold environment is soothing to it, sheltering even. It has no true malice for the miners, unless they interfere too much in his home, which they've yet to do. It has a keen curiousity for the stars, where it knows the miners originate...it has seen their shuttles and those of visitors, but has never yet managed to sneak aboard to explore the stars as a stowaway.
