Support Materia

Sapphire-colored pieces of condensed Lifestream/Mako energy, Support Materia are utilized through "Linked" Materia slots that allow them to merge their contained spiritual energy with a linked Magic Materia and enhance them in strange and mystical ways.

Without a linked Magic Materia, Support Materia do not have any effect.

Name: Elemental

Description: When linked to a materia on an object, assigns the elemental affinity of the linked materia to that object. On an armor, this becomes a resistance to a certain element, while on a weapon, this deals elemental damage.
Level 1: En-element 1 - Weapon (not total) damage increased to 150% to elements opposite of Linked Materia; armor (not total) soak increased to 150% against Linked Materia's element.
Level 2: En-element 2 - Weapon (not total) damage increased to 200% to elements opposite of Linked Materia; armor (not total) soak increased to 200% against Linked Materia's element.(100 AP)
Level 3: En-element 3 - Weapon (not total) damage increased to 250% to elements opposite of Linked Materia; armor (not total) soak increased to 250% against Linked Materia's element. (200 AP)
Level 4: En-element 4 - Weapon (not total) damage increased to 300% to elements opposite of Linked Materia; armor (not total) soak increased to 300% against Linked Materia's element. (300 AP)
Level 5: En-element 5 - Weapon (not total) damage increased to 400% to elements opposite of Linked Materia; armor (not total) soak increased to 40% against Linked Materia's element.(400 AP)

Description: When linked to a materia on an object, assigns the status effect related to the materia to that object. On an armor, this becomes a resistance to a certain status effect, while on a weapon, that weapon gains a percentage chance of inflicting that status effect. Roll 1d100; 10% would be 90+ success, 25% would be 75+ success, etc.
Level 1: Added Effect 10%
Level 2: Added Effect 25%(25 AP)
Level 3: Added Effect 33%(50 AP)
Level 4: Added Effect 50%(75 AP)
Level 5: Added Effect 75%(100 AP)

Description: When linked to a materia, adds additional physical hits to the casting of that particular spell. These are considered "normal attack" blows, cannot be abilities, and are not rolled separately from the spell cast. These hits are limited to weapons that can use them; this Materia will not work on battle axes, sniper rifles, et cetera. You must also have a sufficient combo ability to use each particular added-cut combo, i.e. if you don't have Rapid Strike, you cannot use the additional 1d4 hits.
Level 1: Slice - Adds 1 physical hit.
Level 2: Double Cut - Adds 1d2 physical hits.
Level 3: Triple Slash - Adds 1d3 physical hits.
Level 4: Quad Blow - Adds 1d4 physical hits.
Level 5: Pummel - Adds 1d5 physical hits.
