Staves/Swallows

Whether it be a mage's staff made for enchantments and casting aids -- or as some claim, 'an old man's walking stick' -- or a bo staff made for blunt force combat, the staff is a weapon made for defense, but in the hands of a talented wielder, the staff can turn into a a machine gun of strikes, dealing multiple hits with one end of the weapon before moving it around to deliver more with the other with a simple flick of the wrist. These Advanced Skills will give staff users the opportunity to set themselves apart from the others.

Swallows are essentially staves with blades on each end, akin to the 'thief swords' of Final Fantasy 9, Serge's weapons from Chrono Cross, and Darth Maul's lightsaber from Episode 1, offering the staff's defensive capability with a little heightened offensive power.

Effect: By actually spinning their body just as much as the staff, an expert wielder can form a seemingly endless assault on an enemy. This allows for any number of skill-based combo attacks to be used by both ends of the staff. (1d2, 2d2, 2d3, 2d4, 2d5.)
