Sniper Rifles

Snipers are the epitome of the modern assassin. They can sit over a mile away from a target and with the right equipment, put a hole in the middle of a silver dollar thrown into the air. Snipers are extremely patient people, waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect place, the perfect way to strike... and they won't accept anything else.

Prerequisites: None

Type: Bonus
Effect: Called shots by marksmen deal +250 damage. However, this may not be stacked with any other skills or physical abilities.

Name: Improved Critical
Cost: 30 SP
Skill Level Required: 3
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: An educated sniper knows just where to strike on a target, granting critical hits +500 damage.

Name: Improved Sweet Shot
Cost: 60 SP
Skill Level Required: 4
Prerequisites: Sweet Shot
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: Called shots by marksmen deal +500 damage. However, this cannot be stacked with any other skills or abilities.

Name: Counter Fire
Cost: 90 SP
Skill Level Required: 5
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: A trained sniper can wait for the perfect moment to strike, and may declare holding an action to wait for an enemy to expose themselves in some way, or fire from a hidden position. This works best in countersniping operations, as well as providing cover for others. If the sniper declares using this, they are granted an automatic 'counterattack' to an enemy's attack, meaning that they are not given the chance to a) duck back behind cover or b) hide themselves again.

Skill Level Required: 6, 'Improved Critical' Advanced Skill

Type: Bonus
Effect: A well-trained and observant sniper has the ability to blast the most vital places on an enemy's body, boosting the critical hit damage bonus to +1000.

Name: Advanced Sweet Shot
Cost: 200 SP
Skill Level Required: 8
Prerequisites: Sweet Shot, Improved Sweet Shot
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: Called shots by marksmen deal +750 damage. However, this cannot be stacked with any other skills or abilities.

Name: Advanced Critical
Cost: 350 SP
Skill Level Required: 10, 'Improved Critical,' 'Greater Improved Critical' Advanced Skills
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: A veteran sniper has the capability to drop the most powerful enemy at the greatest distances with a single shot. Due to this, the critical hit damage bonus becomes +2000.
