Geokinesis

The manipulation of the earth itself via psionic power is an unusual but potent ability. By controlling everything from sturdy boulders to shifting sand and mud, to plants and foilage, the geokinetic has the ability to turn the world around them to his/her own whim simply with a glance.

Attack Name: Meteor Blow
Description: By stomping the ground or striking a wall, the user is able to carve up a chunk of the area to kick, throw, or project at an enemy.

Level 4: +1500 Mild "Off Guard": [Knockdown] Target loses 1 action to getting up, suffers penalties to attack, dodge

Level 9: +8000
Level 10: +10000 Acute "Off Guard": [Stunned] Target is knocked over and stunned for 3 turns

Effect: The user is able to create a wall of dense rock, dirt, or metal out of the environment to provide Light Cover (+5 dodge) to up to (Geokinesis Level) characters. This applies as cover vs. Suppressing Fire.

Vine Lash
Cost: 15 SP

Type: Action
Effect: This allows a character to use surrounding foilage as bindings for characters. A Geokinesis attack vs. up to (Geokinesis Level / 2) targets, inflicts "Slow" effect (+1 Severity / 2 Geokinesis Levels), for (Geokinesis Levels / 2) rounds. The subjects may make Strength checks vs. the user's Spirit to break the binds.

Stone Weapon
Cost: 30 SP
Required Skill Level: 3

Type: Action
Effect: This lets the user create weapons out of compacted earth/stone/metal from the environment. These weapons have a damage modifier equal to (Geokinesis level damage / 2) and roll bonus equal to (Geokinesis Level * 2). These weapons will last until dismissed.

Guardian
Cost: 60 SP
Required Skill Level: 4

Type: Action
Effect: This skill allows a user to manipulate standing foilage -- including trees -- to do his/her bidding at a range. The user must dedicate actions to focus this effect, and damage/attacks made by the target plants are equal to the user's Geokinesis bonuses and damage.

Land Stride
Cost: 90 SP
Required Skill Level: 5
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Lets the user move across earthy/muddy surfaces on a 'rock' or 'piece' of land as if surfing on water. The user can cross 2 Areas in one turn with this effect, and the effect lasts (Geokinesis Level / 2) turns. To dodge while using Land Stride, the user's Geokinesis rolls substitute for dodge skills.

Nature's March
Cost: 90 SP
Required Skill Level: 5

Type: Action
Effect: The user is able to uproot plants -- including trees -- with his/her power. These plants are able to move/be moved, and will follow the mental direction of the caster.

TerRadar
Cost: 120 SP
Required Skill Level: 6
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: The user is able to sense normal movement tremors through metal, earth, or stone up to (Geokinesis / 2) Areas away. When targets are attempting stealth within that area, the user may substitute his/her geokinesis roll against it instead of a sensory perception skill.

Forest Friend
Cost: 120 SP
Required Skill Level: 6

Type: Action
Effect: Allows a character to "persuade" wild plants/monsters to assist rather than hinder the user and his/her allies. The user essentially telepathically persuades the creature with a Geokinesis roll vs. the target's Willpower.

Improved Wall
Cost: 160 SP

Type: Action
Effect: The user is able to create a wall of dense rock, dirt, or metal out of the environment to provide Heavy Cover (+20 dodge) to up to (Geokinesis Level) characters. This applies as cover vs. Suppressing Fire.

Improved Stone Weapon
Cost: 275 SP
Required Skill Level: 9
Prerequisites: Stone weapon

Type: Action
Effect: This lets the user create weapons out of compacted earth/stone/metal. These weapons are granted a damage modifier equal to (Geokinesis level damage) and roll bonus equal to the user's (Geokinesis Level * 4).

Gaia Magna
Cost: 400 SP
Required Skill Level: 10
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: By combining both plant and earth control to its maximum, the user is able to breathe life into and rejuvenate desolate areas. Desert can be turned to arable land, bare igneous rock can rapidly become overgrown with life, and desolate tundra can become thick, soft soil. This effect works over time, but a single use of this effect will reach out 5 Areas at a time.
