Psionics: Gyrokinesis

Gyrokinesis

A more uncommon school, gyrokinesis focuses on the pull of spatial forces. While more difficult to achieve and not as easily controlled as telekinesis, the forces produced can far exceed its similar cousins. Gyrokinesis can be used to change forces, amplify them, or reduce them, giving the appearance of supernatural powers. Because it is less obvious and augments or creates natural forces, it can easily be hidden and claimed as the user or target being super humanly fast/strong.

Attack Name: Graviton
Description: The power to manipulate gravity, focus it and turn this celestial force against those that stand before you.

Gravity Well
Cost: 15 SP
Required Skill Level: 2
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: This creates a localized Area-wide well of gravity which can either boost or hinder movement. The user can either impose a (Gyrokinesis Level) penalty on Movement/Dodge checks in an entire Area, or grant a (Gyrokinesis Level) (round up) bonus to Movement/Dodge checks in an entire Area. If used in battle, affects all targets, friend and foe alike.

Weighted Impact
Cost: 30 SP
Required Skill Level: 3
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: This allows a user to deploy a weighted gravity ridge ahead of a standard, one-hit attack. This deals (level /2) damage in addition to a weapon's damage.

Applied Gravity Ridge
Cost: 60 SP
Required Skill Level: 4
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: Projectile attacks are now affected by your gravity wells, distorting their paths. Any projectile weapon used within the Area of a Gravity Well can either be boosted by (Gyrokinesis level) or penalized by (Gyrokinesis level).

Improved Gravity Well
Cost: 90 SP
Required Skill Level: 5
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: This further boosts the strength of localized gravity wells, allowing them to bolster or hinder movement by the user's (Gyrokinesis Level * 2).

Improved Weighted Impact
Cost: 120 SP
Required Skill Level: 6
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: This creates a gravity ridge directly in front of a given attack attack, adding an additional (level) damage to the strike.

Enhanced Applied Gravity Ridge
Cost: 120 SP
Required Skill Level: 6
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: As with gravity ridge, your gravity wells produce further distortion on the path of projectile attacks. Any projectile weapon used within the Area of a Gravity Well can either be boosted by (Gyrokinesis level * 2) or penalized by (Gyrokinesis level * 2).

Passive Gravity Well
Cost: 160 SP
Required Skill Level: 7
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: This allows the user to create and sustain a gravity well without the need to focus on it. After creation, it may be maintained as a free action.

Advanced Gravity Well
Cost: 200 SP
Required Skill Level: 8
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: This further boosts the strength of localized gravity wells, allowing them to bolster or hinder movement by (Gyrokinesis Level * 3).

Advanced Weighted Impact
Cost: 275 SP
Required Skill Level: 9
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: This creates a gravity ridge directly in front of a given attack attack, adding an additional (psionic damage level) damage to the strike.

Advanced Gravity Ridge
Cost: 400 SP
Required Skill Level: 10
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: As with gravity ridge, your gravity wells produce further distortion on the path of projectile attacks. Any projectile weapon used within the Area of a Gravity Well can either be boosted by (Gyrokinesis level * 4) or penalized by (Gyrokinesis level * 4).
