Telepathy/Psychokinesis
Telepathy and Psychokinesis are among the staples of psionic activity. Telepathy refers to distant, mental communication from one person to another, while psychokinesis is the manipulation of another's mind remotely. These two wholly mental, mind-to-mind faculties go hand-in-hand with one another, and as a result are capable of amazing feats of vast complexity or simplicity.
Attack Name: Inception
Description: The power of mental domination at your fingertips. While not a direct attack on the body, the mind makes it real. These attacks, while mentally debilitating, cannot lethally harm the target but they may impose the idea of any "form" of attack on a target they wish.
Special Notes: When a character reaches Level 3 (Mild), Level 7 (Moderate), and Level 9 (Acute) of the Telepathy/Psychokinesis skill, the character may choose a single status effect to be incurred with the user's attacks. This effect can only be changed with a day of meditation, meaning it cannot be done during a mission.
Status Effects available: Freeze, Burning, Petrify, Soaked, Confuse, Sleep, Infested, Shock, Sadness, Blind, Silence, Sprain

Effect: A mentally aware telepath has the ability to recognize when someone is attempting to probe their mind.
- Heightened Reception
Cost: 15 SP

Effect: With heightened reception, a telepath may recognize someones intentionally broadcast thoughts, even if the broadcaster does not have telepathy themselves.
- Improved Range
Cost: 30 SP
Required Skill Level: 3

Type: Bonus
Effect: Doubles the effective range that you can successfully reach telepathy from.
- Mind Probe
Cost: 60 SP
Required Skill Level: 4

Type: Action
Effect: Allows you to invade the thoughts of another being, scanning it for a given preset topic of information. This requires two rolls, a roll against their will, and a roll of gather information.
- Mind Sonar
Cost: 90 SP

Effect: A fairly advanced telepathic skill allows a telepath to pick up the surface thoughts of anyone within a small area. This can be done without being overwhelmed, provided the area isn't extremely crowded.
- Mental Scream
Cost: 120 SP

Type: Ability
Effect: You can produce a high intensity mental noise in someone else's head. This noise gives the target a (Telepathy Skill Level) negative to rolls for as long as the ability is maintained. Every round, the telepath must roll against the targets will to overcome the ability.

Effect: Your telepathy can hit extreme distances, even as far apart as a city or further (assuming no interference).
- Mind Alteration
Cost: 400 SP

Effect: Modify the thoughts of another person. This allows you to roll against another persons will to be changes to their thought process. Due to the intense difficulty, there are a few rules which must be obeyed.
1) The person can not harm themselves
2) The person will not perform any action which is GROSSLY alien to them
3) The person can not perform any action they don't understand
4) Mind Alterations allow you to substitute a word or verb in a thought, such as 'Go to Bennets' to 'Go to the police station' or 'Kill Bennet'
5) Some people with high will can resist mind alteration without a will roll. The power is generally better used on the average, and will almost never work on a PC character
