Dimensional Wars 5.0

Long ago, before humans dominated Gaia, Gaia's role was that of a last stand in a war that was taxing the Cetra and pushing them to the brink of extinction. Upon Gaia, a council of Cetran Races convened regarding the situation and how to rectify it. Their war between themselves and the fae had dragged on for many centuries, and resources were depleting. In a last effort, the cetra banded together under a council of leaders, including one man of dubious background, Wingly Emperor Melbu Frahma <4end>
Melbu Frahma assisted and advised the alliance into constructing a weapon known as Installation 15. This fortress, a floating, mobile weapons platform, was constructed with the intention to open a temporal gate back to the Cetran origin time, Geddon, where they could pull their ancestors through into the future and revive their race (There is an explaination for how this could be done and
not screw up the timeline, its a tad complicated). This time gate, which would become known as the Grand Cross, required so much energy that an entire plane would be sacrified in its activation. As it just so happened, the fae came from a different plane that was considered sacrificial.
Frahma however had different plans. He aligned himself with Giygas, and saw himself as a divine leader who would reshape the multiverse in his own golden visage, all other life not worthy of existance. He intended to become the force of destruction itself and unleash its powers in the past, radically reshaping the future
During a crucial point in the war, Frahma pointed the Wraith in the direction of the cetran colony of Eden and attempted to activate the installation solo. He was confronted by one of his trusted friends, Doctor Evermore, and forced into retreat to his own realm, where a war raged against the winglies by the humans they enslaved
Though the cetra fell, and Melbu Frahma was defeated in his own story.. his rage did not disappear into the annals of time. Rather instead, he hid himself away in a warrior, waiting for a day he would have his chance again.
Fast forward to present day. Hikaru City, one half of an ancient empire known as Arcadia, had just evaded destruction at the hands of Giygas and the forces of Twilight Dawn. Several incidents concerning hidden aliens crash landing on their continent had created shaky diplomatic relations between them and their neighboring country of Nocturne, the other half of Arcadia. These aliens were Predators.
In an effort to restore relations and avoid a growing war, Governor McDonnell, the leader of Hikaru's government, invited the leaders of the soverign nation of Nocturne to attend a diplomatic conference in the city.

(Event 5.1)

From Nocturne, the King himself, King Malcolm, and the four Reagents (local rulers) of Nocturnes province attended the conference, as well as the Dimensional Warriors. During day 3 of the conference however, the forces of Giygas took their moment to strike. Starmen appeared in Hikaru, laying seige to the peaceful nation. Nocturnes leaders evacuated, and the cities military executed their only option, the execution of an ancient shield technology found deep beneath the cities surface, isolating the city from the rest of the world and stranding its citizens. During the attack, a dark man from a distant land known as Zio, the Scourge of Motavia, arrived amidst the confusion. His mission, to assassinate key personell in both governments, allowing him to puppetmaster their existance. He was successful in doing so, replacing both leaders while the worlds head was turned to the Starmen.
Also during the attack, the existance of a hidden black market organization came to light due to research by Sephiroth and spying by Zon. Known as the Black Arms, they would become a constant thorn in the side of the Dimensional Warriors under leader Lee Jordan. The Dimensional Warriors infiltrated the city via the underground ancient facility beneath Hikaru and proceeded to drive the starmen back out of the city. Things appeared to have been restored to normal.. but things could not have been further from the truth. Zio made his next move on Avalon, where the fae had retreated to gather for a thousand years. Walking into the plane with cold iron (their weakness), Zio used his superior magic and the strength of Giygas to crush the fae, leaving only small bands of survivors. With the only ones who knew of Installation 15 out of the way, Zio began his plans. Under the guise of militry leader Generalissimo Harrison of Hikaru, he began to use misadventures of the Dimensional Warriors in an attempt to turn public favor against them. Finally, one night, they had hit the last straw. The Dimensional Warriors refused to follow orders. Zio took his opportunity to crush them with full force, sending the military to assassinate the group with prejudice. With their home surrounded, the Dimensional Warriors narrowly escaped death thanks to the intervention of the Alliance's (Earth's united forces) flag ship, the SDF-1. As King Malcolm, Zio had also been busy. Turning his attention to the continents south tip and the strange mountain region that rested there, he began to revive a mine that the cetra had used to mine for resources during their presence, harvesting the pure cold iron that slept beneath the mountain and ferrying it between the two 'warring' nations using a shadow company known as Cyprus Industries. The Dimensional Warriors took refuge on the island nation of Kattleox, even going so far as to undo the damage the Bonne family had done years ago during their siege there, making them welcome to the island. Under Jameson's leadership, things looked to be growing to normal.. but the small island base in a lake was too small to stage a serious offensive against Hikaru. Their leaders turned their thoughts to the cetran city they had seen two years ago, the black floating city known as Eden, home to grassy fields and powerful defenses. Eden had been submerged after the cetra left Gaia, its denizens and the city itself cryogenically frozen beneath the ocean waves, until Dimensional War 3.0, when it was restored as part of an operation in place by the Elysium System. The elders were initially friendly, but revealed their true nature when they concured that humanity and non cetran life should be rendered sterile, allowed to fade into twilight to make way for the new cetran empire (then lead by Wilhelm).
When the system decided to take control of Eden in a drastic shift of events, the elders decided to scuttle the city back into the ocean, drowning it and its residents, many of whom had been corrupted by jenova. It was the random magic of dune which relocated Eden to a small island south east of Kattleox. And it was there they intended to go next
Jameson enlisted the help of Jason Evermore, ally of the group, to help restore the city to its full prowess. There they contended with eachother, the Space Pirates (metroid) and the city, but managed to get it operational. With their new base of operations, they pressed on to recover the next Zenith point.
Zenith points, for the record, are special spatial locations which exist on part of the same plane as a part of Giygas. The cetra believed that by collecting these points, a weapon could be made which would destroy Giygas once and for all.
The Zenith point pursued was on Mobius, where even local bad guy Eggman was being impacted by the forces of Giygas, lead locally by Mephiles, and overseen by Zio. They found the Zenith point in an underwater research base, and managed to defeat Giygas's physical form (A Dark Force) to recover it
During this process however, Hikaru's strength on Gaia continued to grow, drawing resources from other nations and the technological strength of Robotic Megafact Corporation (R.M. Corp). Furthermore, an alliance with the Black Arms was made to provide advanced technology and vessals to the nation. Their navy ballooned from several dozen ships to hundreds, headed by the flagship vessal Leviathan. The new fleet was christened the Anti Terrorism Fleet (A.T.F.) and was headed by new General of the Hikaru Military, General Issac Edge, a by the book officer with a strict moral code and a penchant for dispatching evil.

(Event 5.7)

The next move was made by Zio. Furious that he had lost the Zenith point, he struck back in retalliation, kidnapping the youngest Bonne brother (Bon) from Eden and intending to use him in ritual sacrifice. The group pursued Zio to his homeworld of Motavia, winding up in the mage academy of Piata. The headmaster of the mages academy attempted to caution the Dimensional Warriors on Zio's dark power, but they chose to press on. By back of Dragons Red and Daedalus, the Dimensional Warriors headed north to Zio's fort, landed on the balcony, and attempted to confront him. If only they had heeded the headmasters warning, they might have realized that Zio's magical barrier made him impervious to attack.
Naturally, they had their asses handed to them. Zio's most devestating spell was the Black Wave, a spell which reduced a person to an inch of their life, with darkness sapping their strength and will to live. It was only through the intervention of... Slayzer, a cetran warrior who the group thought defeated, that the Dimensional Warriors lived to fight another day.
Maeve returned to Motavia to conduct research into Zio's barrier, and encountered a paladin by the name of Rune Walsh. The paladin told her that Zio's barrier was a reknowned phenomenon known as the psycho barrier, a direct manifestation of his dark power. The key to its defeat lay in Ladea Tower, an ancient structure which is believed to have been the home to ancients who opposed Dark Force.
The Dimensional Warriors returned to Motavia and headed to the tower, where 3 riddles greeted them. The group overcame the riddles, and indeed Riku nearly gave his life to ensure the last was successfully passed. At the summit of the tower, the group found the Psycho Wand, the weapon which would shatter Zio's powerful barrier.
Back in Eden, the group schemed a way to infiltrate Zio's tower again, which would undoubtedly be guarded by only the finest starmen and demons. It was Aerith who had a brilliant idea. During Ladea Tower, the group had found a pet which ate mental or spiritual energy and expelled a powerful attack upon each casting. This being, known as a magitoise, would be brought with them to Zio's tower.
Again they went to Zio's tower, this time choosing to storm the main gate. The upper levels were initially protected by a barrier field generated by a starman base of operations below the tower. The magitoise however worked flawlessly, charging downstairs to its next meal. The starmen threw their most powerful psionic attacks at the magitoise, who responded by completely and absolutely devestating Giygas's army and destroying the facilities power core. With the barrier down, the group proceeded upstairs. Upstairs, they confronted Zio's high priest, Juza. Juza was preparing Bon for sacrifice, and though he was a powerful warrior, he was no match for the Dimensional Warriors. With Bon recovered, the group pressed forward to make their payback on Zio. The fight with Zio was difficult, even with the Psycho barrier down he was a formidable opponent, though some choice strikes by Riku and Chauncey diminished his health greatly until he succumbed to his injuries. All looked won, then along came a spider. In all of the running around, nobody had stopped to wonder how Zio evaded the sensors of Eden, which ordinarily tripped upon dark magic. No one questioned when Lloyd proceeded through the stargate to face Zio alone, and no one certainly questioned where Zio had learned of the Installation. Though they did question when Lloyd entered the chamber and collapsed, by then they were greeted by Zio's form rising from the ashes, transforming into a much taller and monsterous being Melbu Frahma.
My apologies. The group actually knew about Lloyd and Frahma before hand, though they did not realize his involvement directly with Zio at that time
Melbu Frahma, though civil, carried about him an air of obvious malice. Through his royal tongue and princely attitude, his actions lorded his supremacy over the Dimensional Warriors. The being returned to Hikaru, where none of the officers even realized something had transpired.
No sooner did they return to Eden then were the Dimensional Warriors faced with a crisis. Hikaru's modus operendi had changed, and they intended to launch biological weapons of great power at the city of Eden, hoping to exterminate their problems once and for all. The Dimensional Warriors returned to occupied Hikaru, parachuting into a silo to stop the launch of the ICBM's.
They were successful in stopping the launch, but little did they realize Melbu Frahma's methods of play. During their mission, the governor of Hikaru was assasinated, giving Harrison full control over the countries government. He opted to initiate a lockdown of the entire country, a national shield which would render their country impervious to attack, allowing him to pursue his true objective - Installation 15. Rejoined by Sephiroth, the Dimensional Warriors fled the country to the Nocturne border in a high speed chase in a beseiged monorail. Fighting in unison, the warriors narrowly made it across the border in time to watch the national shield raise, a purple dome which locked Hikaru away.
The group, back in Eden, licked their wounds while plotting their next move. A series of side events occured, including a strike at a Black Arms base and driving the remaining space pirates off of Gaia. During this time, Frahma consolidated his forces, also encountering a new ally, a Silvite Cetran known as Ramirez. Ramirez mysteriously rose to the rank of General immediately and was placed with Edge. Hikaru also launched its flagship air superiority vessal, the Lance of Light.

(5.10)

With their dominance established, the entire A.T.F. fleet set sail for Eden, a fleet of hundreds of vessals versus an Island nation protected by warriors and the non profit organization known as the World Regenesis Organization. A call was put out to the allies of the Dimensional Warriors. The mages guild, the W.R.O., Nocturne (who was believed to be an ally), the Alliance, and several smaller groups banded together. The stage was set for one of the largest conflicts in Gaian history.
Upon arrival, the A.T.F. fleet encountered serious resistance, met by the allies of the Dimensional Warriors. Their cetran based drone fighters proved inferior to the strength of a clan of dragons from Nocturne, and their robotic armies little match for the hacker Radical Edward. With the first volley of shots exchanged, it was decided the only way to win this would be a counterattack on the A.T.F. flagship, the Leviathan. Using dimensional technology, the group teleported to two ships simultaneously, each adjacent to the Leviathan itself. The massive leviathan cruiser is a four hulled floating city, lined with two full airfields and equipped with the Sister Ray cannon as a primary weapon. The Dimensional Warriors secured both ships, driving them into the Leviathans hull from both sides in an effort to immobilize the ship. No sooner had they penetrated the ship then did a complication arise. Ramirez betrayed Melbu Frahma and fired the Sister Ray on his own, the cannon shell rising over Eden and striking an unseen target in the sky. The shape of Gaia changed immediately, five additional moons and dozens of new floating continents appearing in the sky, putting the battle at a standstill. With confusion on both sides, the Dimensional Warriors made their way to the Leviathans main deck, where they confronted Ramirez. Ramirez indicated that his true agenda was to revive the 'Great leader Galcian', however he was quickly whisked away by airships. With reinforcements coming and the A.T.F. in full retreat, the group retreated to Eden to study their situation.

(5.11)

The group headed to Zeal to research the new continents. With some significant developments occuring, they learned about Gaia's history and involvement in the Fae-Cetra war, as well as how the continents were believed to be remnants of some great tragedy.

(5.12)

Unable to find specific answers to their questions, the group decided to head directly to the floating continents. There, they were confronted by the air force that drove the A.T.F. into full retreat, the Valuan Armada. Though they attempted negotiations, in the end the situation destabalized and they were forced to retreat. As this was happening, One of Nocturnes Reagents began growing unsettled with the King of Nocturne's actions. During the siege of Eden, Hikaru had claimed the mountain region and part of the East province (his territory) without so much as a shot fired. Suspicious, Lord Nelson Rathbone took it upon himself to reinforce his corner by recovering a battleship owned by his mentor, Slayzer Restalia.
With the battleship Vangel at his command, Rathbone garnered the attention and support of Valua, while keeping them at bay long enough for the Dimensional Warriors to depart.

(5.13)

With this component in place, the group turned to a personal mission. They were hired by the Xanatos corporation (or so they thought) to recover their president and his extended family, who were captured while on Gaia and taken to R.M. Corp's base in Tiera's capital city. The group proceeded to execute a flawless rescue mission, a truly professional strike which rendered no casualties, and exposed a rogue element of the Alliance paranormal team known as Division Six. Unfortunately, before they could investigate any further element of the facility (including its ties to Black Arms), one of the research subjects awoke in the inner chamber. A silver man took the form of a guard and proceeded to escape the facility during the Dimensional Warrior's escape, managing to wipe out a section of the Tieran military in doing so

(5.14)

Once back and paid for their servide, the group turned their sights to the next Zenith point, on the Xenophobic world of Nigelle. No sooner did they arrive than were they accosted by the X.C.F. (Xenobiological Contact Force) and starmen. It seemed one of Giygas's agents, a 13 year old brat named Pokey of the New Pork Empire, had convinced the Elders of Nigelle that the Dimensional Warriors were villains. It was discovered that Pokey had conveniently saved their world from an attack by heartless. Though the Dimensional Warriors managed to cast doubt on Pokey's sincerity, the Elders indicated that simply coming to Nigelle without permission was grounds for reconditioning, genetic brainwashing to make them compatible with Nigellian society (and providing a labour force to boot). Using their sophisticated nanotechnology, the group was placed in a transport and sent off to the reconditioning center. The Dimensional Warriors, with the help of Stan, retook the transport and attempted to escape pursuit. Half succeeded, while half failed and were captured. The group that succeeded opted to press on to the Zenith Point, which Stan indicated was likely at the core of the Nigellian Civilization, the Hall of Elders which stored the nanotech programming that formed their society. Those captured however met a medical doctor named Julia Lancaster, a woman who had herself been reconditioned. An unseen hand intervened in their captivity, placing a group of marines loyal to the Dimensional Warriors, lead by General Francis X. Hummel of the Hikaru City Disaster Task Force, and several new members on the roof of the facility. The new members took control of the X.C.F. building and freed the Dimensional Warriors, escaping by way of one of the Nigellian hovercars. During the escape, the Starmen began to forcibly try to stop the Dimensional Warriors, throwing caution to the wind and attacking them and X.C.F. alike. The non captured Dimensional Warriors returned to the Elders Citadel, but found it overrun by Starmen. With the aid of Stan, they managed to infiltrate the hall. Realizing he needed to move fast, Pokey manipulated his way into being given access to the Hall of Elders, where Melbu Frahma assasinated the leaders of the Nigellian civilization and proceeded to enter, ordering the Starmen to wipe out any resistance. The two bands of Dimensional Warriors reunited, and with the aid of Dr Lancaster and several groups of nigellian security forces, they pursued Frahma into the Hall of Elders. Unfortunately, confronting Frahma ended poorly, as although Rose managed to wound him, his magic devestated the program library, reducing the Nigellian civilization to ash in the process. The D.W. again were faced with a forming physical manifestation of Giygas, a Dark Force. This one was physically a juggernaut, and the fight against it was brutal. The Nigellians threw their remaining forces at it, including Aziel's suggestion to use the orbital defense network against it (a plan which Corrine disrupted by teleporting onto its shoulder). The Dimensional Warriors prevailed, largely due to Kuja's ability to freeze the ground beneath it, making it more difficult for it to dodge and attack. The alliance also arrived on the scene to provide assistance.

Event 5.15

Leaving Nigelle behind with their third Zenith point, the Dimensional Warriors began to take care of business at home. First going to Nocturne, Maeve had a personal mission in order to save several fae who had escaped Avalon, Banshee and Odin. Meanwhile, Reagent Rathbone was determined to capture them, as their squabbles had been devestating a town. Through Genesis' diversion, Rathbone was delayed long enough for the DW to make contact with Odin, who indicated that Banshee had stolen his magical eye, hence the conflict. Banshee, who had fled the town, escaped south to one of Nocturne's hydroponics farms, producing a summer snowstorm with her eye to cover her tracks. Rather than fight, Banshee opted to surrender peacefully with the option of Asylum in Eden.
In the second half of 5.15, Hummel's resistance organization Hikaru was ready to make its move, assisted by Urza Planeswalker. Hikaru had constructed itself a prison to hold magic beings known as Yestermite, built by Urza himself. The DW had been given the key to release those captive inside, but it involved infiltrating the artificial prison island. Hummel and his loyal men left Eden on a W.R.O. vessal with the cryptic message to be ready for the next move. That very afternoon, Hummels men took control of the W.R.O. vessal and sailed it into Yestermite, beginning an assault on the facility while forces in Hikaru struck back against the military occupation. The D.W. took the Elsa, one of their airships, supported by the W.R.O. in an attack on the island. Though the Elsa sustained heavy combat damage, they succeeded in penetrating the prison tower and working their way to the top. Urza's unlocking program worked as he said. The issue wasn't its function, but the specifics of the prison. Although Yestermite contained magic creatures, he had never built, nor would he ever build, a prison to hold them. Instead, he had been using a network of artificial mana generators based around his skyscraper in Eden (Urza's Tower) to summon powerful dieties and magical monsters into the realm, his given purpose being that science unbalanced leads to destruction, and that in order to restore balance, the scale had to be tipped heavily. It wasn't a prison, it was a summoning chamber. The group headed to the roof of Yestermite, only to witness a showdown between Stan and Urza. Stan revealed that whatever his purpose was was given to him by his 'father', Urza Planeswalker, and that purpose involved killing Urza. Rather than intervene, with monsters spilling out of the recesses of the constructed island, they opted to retreat via the Elsa, watching as WEAPON and monsters engaged the collected fleets, other monsters teleporting around the world. The A.T.F. fleet attempted to engage, but was itself engaged by the dragon god known as Io. Even the mighty Sister Ray proved no match for it, as in a single use of its breath weapon, it eliminated 60% of the ATF, much of the W.R.O. fleet, and almost any air vessal in the region. With the world in chaos, air travel was suspended, several countries going into martial law. The simple act of driving to work became an adventure as monsters that had been extinct for thousands of years now roamed the surface. Modern military was pitted against magic for the first time in centuries, and losing. Supermarkets became monster dens as beasts hunted for food in a new age. Kobolds raided shops for supplies, dragons ruled the skies. The world had been thrust into a chaotic new era. In response however, Harrison and King Malcolm both indicated that the new situation was sufficient to warrant a peace fire, ending the war. While most were cautiously optomistic about the prospect of Hikaru being forced to stand down, Genesis and Kaijo smelled a rat. With investigation and meeting a quirky professor, they learned of the background dealings of Cyprus Industries, and the hidden links between the Black Arms, Nocturne, and Hikaru. Even more surprising was Rathbone's being charged with high treason, forcing him to abandon his province and flee in the Vangel with the aid of Deepground, becoming a wanted criminal. Something did not add up, so Rathbone was contacted to request further information. Piecing together their information, Zio's original plan was discovered, and through it, Melbu Frahma's location. With Reeve on his way to a peace conference, the Dimensional Warriors needed evidence to convince the international community the W.R.O. should step in and arrest both soverign leaders for conspiracy. With little time and little information, they headed to the only known location both sides have held in play since the ordeal began, the Valence Mountains in south Nocturne. There, at the Cold Iron mines, they found Nocturne Royal guard and Hikaru Specters working in tandem to produce the mineral, as well as the proof needed to show the conspiracy. After disabling the mine, they headed to the Nocturnian house of lords, a floating airship above their city that housed their parliament. The Dimensional Warriors stormed into the meeting room, surrounded by leaders on both sides of the war and Reeve, and called out Harrison and King Malcolm to reveal themselves. <4end>
Sure enough, the two combined, and the shape shifted to form Melbu Frahma. A second confrontation occured with leaders from all sides scattering to their corners, however Frahma again proved too strong, dipatching the warriors in a round and using his magic to burn the house of lords to the ground.
Worse yet, during the confrontation, Slayzer reemerged in Eden, only to reveal himself as Wilhelm (the true Wilhelm, not the home grown one). Slayzer (for simplicity) used his vastly superior will to command the Dimensional Warriors in Eden to return a device to him known as the compass of order, and proceeded to make his way through the cities control tower. Evermore attempted to duel him, and though he put up a valiant effort, the combined force of Slayzer and Wilhelm was too strong for him to overcome and he fell to the superior magic and strength of the being. Whatever objective he was after looked close in sight, but before he could claim it, he was confronted by... Wilhelm. Though the clone Wilhelm fought valiantly, in the end he was no match for his prime, who stabbed him before revealing 'Zarathustra was still viable'. Using a control terminal beneath Eden's fountain, he activated a system which fired a beam of energy at Elysium (one of Gaia's moons), which then forwarded it to Hikaru. The first failsafe against Installation 15's activation (the failsafe requiring the hand of a Yomi, basically a cetra god) had been undone.

5.17

With the groups true nemesis known, and the two countries now united under the banner of New Arcadia, the group set their sights on the only base of operations known to be outside of Arcadian Borders, the south pole military fortress of Exodus Station. Knowing that Melbu Frahma was executing his plan, they realized their opponents would be only the finest of each country and Giygas. They enlisted the help of allies around Gaia in a massive operation to take down the seat of Hikaru's power, and as it would turn out, the source of their superior technology, and the manufacturing port for the super battleship Leviathan.

Conquering Exodus would be no easy task, even with all of their resources. Turning for additional support, they remembered an old weapons site in the North Crater, which was home to a powerful weapons platform known as the Model F Deus Ex Machina, the prototype for the dimensionally equipped Olympus Ex Machina that had wiped out an entire army a year previous. Realizing they stood a better chance with its aid, they headed North to recover it. While there, Genesis struck a truce with Masato, in exchange for helping her men escape the facilitty they had become trapped in (and slowly slaughtered in by what would turn out to be a clone Sephiroth), she would assist them in launching the Deus Ex Machina. Surprisingly, Masato only had one condition, that her fellow General of the Hikaru Military, General Edge be included in the truce.
With this promise in her hand, Masato was actually true to her hand, the crass warrior helping you escape with your machine, even attempting to delay Sephiroth so that they could escape. Before Sephiroth could exact revenge for a your mother comment involving Jenova being gang banged, she was whisked away by a rift back to the Leviathan. Knowing the Dimensional Warriors had control of the weapon and that it was a threat to world peace, Edge intended to use the Leviathan to break the W.R.O. quarantine around the North Crater and use its superior artillery to destroy it.
Masato pleaded with Edge to go with his gut for a change as opposed to his orders. With the Leviathan closing in, and the Dimensional Warriors engaged in a battle using the Deus Ex versus a tarrasque, the W.R.O. turned their guns on the Leviathan and opened fire. The cannons onboard the Leviathan opened fire, pounding artillery into the air..... and into the monsters supporting the tarrasque. With artillery shells incoming, Edge instructed his men to hold fast, intent upon remaining in the bridge tower to lead his troops. Masato, as artillery rained down around them, grabbed Edge and pushed him through the rear door to the bridge tower, the entire deck igniting in flames.

Now into the latter half of Event 5.17, the attack against Exodus Station took place between the elite of the enemies forces and the allies of the Dimensional Warriors. A series of successive battles pitted the warriors against Specters, the rogue Division Six leader Colonel Frost, a Jenova form improved with genetic mutation known as Jenova Mitosis. Jordan had planned on using Exodus, which housed the Black Arms nanites (stolen from Nigelle, the source of their technology) in an effort to produce antimatter weapons and launch them at various cities. His ultimate goal was to place the black arms in an unopposable position in Gaia, to sell and do business as he pleased. Unfortunately, his plans were thwarted by the skillful piloting of Fei, Van, MOMO, and Alto Saotome (Tidus's pilot), who flew into Exodus station's core and destroyed the launch system, flooding it with arctic water and rendering it useless. General Edge, growing more disconnected with the actions of his men, ordered his loyal crew aboard the Leviathan for immediate departure with Masato, leaving the remainder of his nation, and his alleigance, to the wolves. Lee Jordan had other plans. With his forces suffering casualties, and in no mood to baby sit Hikaru, he fled the station using Masato's airship, the Lance of Light. His intent was to escape, but found himself confronted by the Dimensional Warriors on foot. Realizing he had his opportunity for revenge, Jordan ordered all of his forces to the summit of the glacier to engage and destroy the Dimensional Warriors. Now fending off an entire air vessal on their own, as well as the entire army of their enemies, the situation was changing rapidly. Realizing that Exodus Station had ion defenses scattered around its summit, the party split to take control of them and turn them on the Lance. Despite the overwhelming odds, they were successful in thwarting Jordan's plans, sending his battleship crashing into the ravine below and ending Hikaru's air superiority. While Jordan's plans had failed, Wilhelm had successfully disengaged the second lock at Exodus Station. With two down, one to go, Giygas immediately intervened by sending a mass of forces to reinforce the island nation of Arcadia and to capture the island of Kattleox. The once peaceful island was overtaken by starmen overnight, all hell bent on achieving their mission and serving their master.
