The pharmacist is a staple of medicine, and has been since the days of grinding plants down for salve. Medical artisans are those that are able to craft technical or natural remedies for ailments with enough practice, and have the ability to apply them in creative, useful ways that most other people unfamiliar with the works of medicine would not consider. Insider tricks, as it were.

Medical professionals rely on pharmacists to apply and create their medications, and when the two work together the results can be extraordinary.

Effect: Understanding the chemical reactions of a medicine's ingredients and how they interact with the body, one can improve the formula upon which most conventional medicines are based. 25% bonus to a created medicine's recovery (HP or MP).

Specialized Neuropharmacy

Type: Bonus
Effect: Allows the crafter to create specialized versions of Curative Items that can remove Chronic-level status effects corresponding to that item. The DC to craft these is raised to 150%; however, when these are crafted, they lose the ability to remove Mild, Moderate, and Acute versions of the corresponding status effect.

Effect: A deeper understanding of the effects of medicine on the human body. 25% bonus becomes 50%.

Refined Neuropharmacy

Effect: By improving upon previous formulas and theories, the crafter is able to create more effective versions of Curative Items that can remove all levels of their corresponding status effect up to Chronic severity. The DC to craft these is raised to 200%.

Type: Bonus
Effect: Through a deep and intimate understanding of the workings of the body and medicines, the 50% bonus becomes 100%.

Effect: Allows the crafter to create items specifically tailored to cure exotic and dangerous status ailments safely. Since these treatments have not been given a standardized study, they have no resell value and will not be accepted by merchants.
