Artisan: Engineering

The practice of "engineering" covers a wide gamut of things, allowing an artisan to specialize in nothing but get general training in lots of different things. Grenades, weapon modifications, tools, custom devices, gadgets, augmentations... the engineer is a true all-around craftsman that has studied machinery in all its forms.

The Engineering skill functions as a supplement for all other Artisan skills with a couple of advanced skills, and also allows for the crafting of energy weapons, which covers both energy and vibroweapons based on the different materials of the universe.

VEHICLES
==========

Craft Ground Vehicles
Cost: 15 SP
Level Required: 2
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Allows a character to craft and modify ground-class vehicles & mecha.

Defensive Mechanisms
Cost: 30 SP
Level Required: 3
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Reduce the Pilot Risk to a vehicle by 25% of its original value. To perform this modification, Artisan: Vehicle DC is (Original * 100). Example: To lower a 125% pilot risk (125 * 50) = DC 6250. Price to do so is 25% of the original vehicle's cost, including its current HP count. NOTE: If this is applied to a vehicle and HP can still be added, HP cost increases by 25%.

Protective Engineering
Cost: 60 SP
Level Required: 4
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Adds 50% more AP to a vehicle (if it has 6, adds 3 for a total of 9). This does not add more Hard Points. The Artisan: Vehicles DC to meet to perform this is (AP Added * 1000). Price to do so is 50% of the original vehicle's cost, including its current HP count. NOTE: If this is applied to a vehicle and HP can still be added, HP cost increases by 50%.

Craft Aircraft
Cost: 60 SP
Level Required: 4
Prerequisites: Craft Ground Vehicles
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Allows a character to craft and modify aircraft-class vehicles & air-capable mecha.

Maneuverability Enhancement
Cost: 90 SP
Level Required: 5
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Raise the maneuverability rating of a vehicle by 25% of its original value. To perform this modification, Artisan: Vehicles DC is (Target * 100). Example: To raise a 60% Maneuverability rating ((60 * 1.25) = 75), (75 * 100) = DC 7500. Cost to do so is 25% of the original vehicle's cost, including its current HP count. NOTE: If this is applied to a vehicle and HP can still be added, HP cost increases by 25%.

Craft Spacecraft
Cost: 120 SP
Level Required: 6
Prerequisites: Craft Aircraft
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Allows a character to craft and modify space-class vehicles & spacefaring mecha.

Jury Rigging
Cost: 160 SP
Level Required: 7
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Passively reduces the cost of adding a Hard Point to a vehicle by 25%.
