Rare Encounter: The Quizmaster

As you are walking through the prides, you suddenly feel the ground rumble as giant walls emerge from the ground filled with blinking light bulbs. A podium appears in a puff of smoke as the environs around you seem to disappear. A loud roar of applause surrounds the party as the rain subsides, an announcer talking out of nowhere. "And now, for the Ultimate Quiz, heeeeeeeeeeres your host, Quizmaster". A spotlight hits the 'stage' as an imposing man in an emerald green suit with bright red hair steps to the podium. "Gooood evening ladies and gentlemen, it is time for a quiz. How are we all doing tonight?". Despite the seemingly benign nature of the game, an impressive amount of power seems to eminate from the man. It is clear this is all his illusion. "Right now the scores are at zero, lets have our first question..."

Type !trivia in channel to start the trivia bot. The game is played as 5 questions. Each question is worth 2 unless a hint is given, then it is worth 1. You have a limited time to answer each question so be quick. The person who earns the most points for the team is the MVP. If there is a tie, type !trivia 1 for a sudden death round. After every round of questions, the host will make suitable banter on how well/badly the party is doing.

Material Caps(Materials and gear won from the Quizmaster cannot be above the following materials):
Tiera - Neosteel
Galeron - Starmetal
Arcadian Pridelands - Aetherium

Below 3 points:
Everyone may roll vs 1d400+195 to avoid an unsoakable 100,000 damage ultima that ends the hunting expedition. It will never be fatal however

Open if encountered ONLY
Name:
Rogue Alpha 'Draconis Thuban'

{Starscourge stats are in these brackets.}

Flee: Athletics DC 200
Intention(1d100)
16-100: The dragon robs 25% of the party's gil and takes one random item from the inventory of every character. Anything taken should be added to a post beneath this - as it is returned should Draconis be felled
1-15: The dragon steals 35% of the party's gil, and takes two random items from each character, leaving them alive as an example.

Reward (1d100)
Reward (1d100)

Note: Automatically, all party members get a bounty of 150,000 gil as the bounty for bringing down Draconis from Arcadia. Any items stolen (and not permanently lost) by any dragon rogue is returned.

91-100 - Shadow Dragon Saliva: When brewed into a potion, can be used to cure terminal curse and remove stat damage EXCEPT for stat point damage caused by negative energy (Giygas/Black Wave/Void). Requires meeting an Artisan: Medicine DC of 1000.
65-90 - Shadow Dragon Scale: 1d10 scales which retail for 15000 gil each, or 5 can be crafted into armor to prevent stat drain attacks (except for negative energy)
35-64 - Shadow Dragon Claw: 1d5 claws which retail for 10000 gil. Alternatively, 3 can be crafted into a bladed weapon to give it the 'Guard Break' ability, which allows for a single strike in a regular attack (not a mystic art, counter, etc) to be treated as unsoakable.
1-34 - Several hostages are recovered, increasing the bounty for everyone by 50%.

{Starscourge Rewards}

The automatic bounty is increased to 250,000 gil.

91-100 - 2 Shadow Dragon Saliva: When brewed into a potion, can be used to cure terminal curse and remove stat damage EXCEPT for stat point damage caused by negative energy (Giygas/Black Wave/Void). Requires meeting an Artisan: Medicine DC of 1000.
65-90 - Shadow Dragon Scale: 2d10 scales which retail for 15000 gil each, or 5 can be crafted into armor to prevent stat drain attacks (except for negative energy)
35-64 - Shadow Dragon Fang: 1d5 fangs which retail for 15000 gil apiece. Alternatively, 3 can be crafted into a bladed weapon to be treated as unsoakable.
1-34 - Several hostages are recovered, increasing the bounty for everyone by 50%.

Description:An incredibly rough piece of work. Unlike it's relatively stealthier companions, the Alpha requires no hiding in it's true form. It lumbers over the field, a mighty wyrm of imposing strength and power. It is the commander of the dragon rogues, and with reason. Its race is known only as a 'Dread Dragon', having scales black as night and rows of sharp teeth. In it's draconic form, it would have a slight height advantage over a Skedar standing 13 feet tall. In it's true form, it would dwarf a mech at 50 feet tall and weighing over 300 tons.

Hunting this monster has been a top priority for the Arcadian Special Forces and DTF. When it appears, it doesn't take long for the military to roll in full tactical support. There is a hefty bounty on it's head, if you can defeat it...

When confronting the Rogue Alpha, all bets are off. Vehicles, magic, summons and true form are fair game. You will -need- them to take it on.

Initiative: 4d400{600}

Draconic Form
HP: 6000000{10000000}
MP: N/A
Dodge: 1d360+175{1d420+205}
Physical Soak: 20000{25000}
Magical Soak: 15000{20000}
Element: Shadow

True Form
HP: 6000000{10000000}
MP: N/A
Dodge: 1d220+105{1d280+135}
Physical Soak: 40000{50000}
Magical Soak: 15000{20000}
Element: Shadow

Attack Behavior: 1d15
**SPECIAL**
True Form and Draconic form share the same HP Pool.

Unlike most bosses, the Rogue Alpha does not attack random targets, but instead targets the most prominent threat to it. It will target:

1) Characters in support roles (the most supporting character)
2) The highest damage dealing character
3) Anyone capable of hitting it in its current state(It won't attack melee fighters in range for example)

Roll a 1d100 at the top of each round. If mechs or true forms are involved, there is a 60% chance (41-100) that Draconis will enter true form for the next 3 rounds, at which point this is rolled again. Otherwise, there is a 30%(71-100) chance.

Status effects that would instant KO or disable or impede the dragons ability to act have no effect on Draconis.

Every 5 rounds, roll for the following for reinforcements. For the purposes of this fight, the reinforcements are as written in the Room of Forgotten Memories equipped with HVAP ammo and thus deal unsoakable damage. Treat their 'Reinforcement' abilities as regular attacks.

1-3: Nothing
4: 1d4 Hikaru City Marines
5: 1d4 Marines, 1d3 M-Spec Class 3
6: 1d3 Marines, 1d3 M-Spec Class 3, 1d3 Spectre Class C

Draconic Form (1d13)

1-4:(Draconic) Battle Axes - 1d370+180{1d410+200} (1d2 x 25000{35000}): The immense strength of the dragon allows it to dual wield battle axes, a frightening sight to behold. Each strike adds a severity of 'Enfeeblement' to a character.
5-6:(Draconic) Rise to the Challenge - N/A (N/A): For the next 1d5 rounds, the rolls of the 'Draconic Form' match the highest roll and dodge of the party, including buffs.
7:(Draconic) Curaga - N/A (N/A): Cures 10% of the lost health of the Alpha.
8-9:(Draconic) Guard Break - 1d370+180{1d410+200} (20000{30000} Unsoakable/Unbraceable/Unblockable): The dragon brings his twin axes down HARD against one target. The result is an attack that will penetrate any barrier or shield.
10:(Draconic) Demiga - 1d380+185{1d420+205} (1/2 of target hp): A gravity well that forms around one target, siphoning their energy into the abyss.
11-12:(Draconic) Death Sentence - 1d300+145{1d340+165} (Will Resist) (N/A): he reaper's visage appears behind one target, setting the clock for its doom. Causes Death Sentence status; target will be immediately knocked out in 5 rounds.
13:(Either) Reinforcements - N/A (N/A): A Dragon Rogue Party arrives to reinforce Draconis (as per the event).

1d14 (True Form)

1-4:(True) Dragon Claws - 1d330+160{1d370+180} (1d2x20000{30000} (or 2{3} AP)): The dragon, in true form, rakes its powerful claws against the target, reducing physical armor effectiveness by 20%{25%}.
5-6:(True) Word of Chaos - 1d320+155{1d360+175} (Will Resist) (10000){12500}: The character is able to shake the foundations of ordered religion, government, or society with a single, otherworldly shout. This spell inflicts magic damage and inflicts Acute "Confuse" status on all targets in an Area for 1d5 rounds.
7:(True) Dragon Roar - DC 50 Will Resist (N/A): Any character who fails the will resist on the mighty dragon roar will attempt to flee the combat at all opportunities for the next round.
8-9:(True) Shadow Breath - 1d400+195{1d440+215} (20000 Unsoakable): A powerful shadow based breath weapon that causes acute Curse (does not go away until treated with magic, even after KO). as well as dealing massive damage.
10:(True) Power Word: Blind - 1d250+120{1d290+140} (Will Resist) (N/A): This powerful attack threatens all party members, using raw shadow energy to produce blindness. Anyone affected rolls 1d5 and is inflicted with that severity blindness for 1d5 rounds.
11:(True) Take Flight/Land - N/A (N/A): This does not take up a turn (reroll the action afterwards). If the dragon is flying, it lands. If the dragon has landed, it is flying.
In the air, the 'Dragon Claws' attack only deals 1 hit, but threatens 3 targets. Its breath weapon threatens up to 5 targets in a strafing run. It is out of range of melee attacks unless someone can fly, and it also gains access to the mighty pile drive attack.
12:(True) Pile Drive - 1d420+205{1d460+225} (60000{80000} (6{8} AP)): The dragon swoops down to grab a single prey with both claws before flying straight up with them. It immediately whips around and slams the target into the ground for massive damage. It -must- be in flight, or else reroll this outcome.
13:(True) Dragon Bite - 1d340+165{1d380+185} (30000{45000} (4{6} AP)): A powerful bite with armor crushing jaws. Reduces armor efficiency by 30% and deals 4 AP to vehicles.
14:(Either) Reinforcements - N/A (N/A): A Dragon Rogue Party arrives to reinforce Draconis (as per the event).
