Technical Modifiers

These are modifiers that can be placed on the simulation, including the player characters. These can have a variety of effects, but be aware that there will be changes in the rewards depending on what you choose.

Advantages:

Name: 1/2 Damage from Enemy
Description: Your character takes half the assigned damage from an enemy attack, before any other action is taken. (soak, defend, etc.)
Effect: Character receives only 1/8th the normal amount of experience.

Name: 1/4 Damage from Enemy
Description: Your character takes a quarter of the assigned damage from an enemy attack, before any other action is taken. (soak, defend, etc.)
Effect: Character receives only 1/16th the normal amount of experience.

Name: Double Stats
Description: Your character's base stats are doubled. Example: 60 Strength becomes 120 Strength, 50 Endurance becomes 100 Endurance.
Effect: Character receives only 1/4th of the normal amount of experience.

Name: Triple Stats
Description: Your character's base stats are tripled. Example: 60 Strength becomes 180 Strength, 50 Endurance becomes 150 Endurance.
Effect: Character receives only 1/8th the normal amount of experience.

Name: 'Simulated' Equipment
Description: Your character enters a simulated fight with specified equipment that the character did not bring with them. i.e.: a rocket launcher, a new sword, new armor, etc.
Effect: The character receives no experience and no rewards. This can be considered something used for weapons training or magic training exercises.

Disadvantages:

Name: Double Damage
Description: The enemies deal double their assigned damage.
Effect: The characters receive 10% more of the assigned experience.

Name: Quadruple Damage
Description: The enemies deal quadruple their assigned damage.
Effect: The characters receive 20% more of the assigned experience.

Name: Maximum Damage
Description: The enemies deal ten times their assigned damage.
Effect: The characters receive 50% more of the assigned experience.

Name: One Hit Challenge
Description: Any strike from an enemy will result in the simulation ending as a failure.
Effect: The characters receive 100% more of the assigned experience. If the character has already earned experience from the fight they simply earn that same amount again.
Example:
Defeat of a boss grants 10 xp, with a one hit challenge that would be 20 xp
Defeat of a boss grants 10 xp, fighting it again but this time with one hit challenge active only grants you another 10 xp.

Name: Low Level Status Ailment
Description: The characters begin the simulation suffering from a low-level Status Effect. (poison, blind, silence, etc.)
Effect: The characters receive 10% more of the assigned experience.

Name: Moderate Level Status Ailment
Description: The characters begin the simulation suffering from a medium-level Status Effect. (venom, mute, slow, etc.)
Effect: The characters receive 20% more of the assigned experience.

Name: High Level Status Ailments
Description: The characters begin the simulation suffering from a high-level Status Effect. (Slow Death, Slow Petrify, Phazon Poisoning)
Effect: The characters receive 50% more of the assigned experience.

Name: Extreme Challenge
Description: Opponents rolls are raised by +100, Enemies HP is multiplied by 20, Enemy damage is tripled.
Effect: The characters receive a special award that varies with the simulation selection. All items drop if they have not been acquired. If you did not qualify for xp gain in the fights normal settings you do so in this instance.
