Description: The arena is an enormous intersection of streets in New York City at night, with all the billboards and neon lights blinking as if life were completely normal. All around the intersection itself lay the husks of burnt out cars, covered in a thick, stringy, pale yellow mucous twisted into strands resembling spider web. Across the intersection covered by white paint, with tire marks and potholes, are various spots of this same webbing, which stretches between cars and even from the tops of buildings down to thes treet level. These strands do not resemble actual web, but are obviously trigger lines.

The warped, mutated, grotesque body of the spider is black, hairy, with diseased mucous stretching between its giant hairs. The creature stands at eight feet tall at the shoulders, with the 'back' of its mutated body elongated to where it hangs over where its head was, which has receeded into its body considerably. However, even beneath the shadow of its own body, the enormous fangs and array of green, arachnid eyes can be seen in the light of the intersection. The creature's eight legs all terminate into enormous, hardened claws, which click loudly on the cement and the stone buildings.

Weapon of Choice:
Web
Fangs
Claws

HP: 130,000
MP: 2000
Physical Soak: 4000
Mental Soak: 6000

Dodge Roll: 1d140+65

Attack Behavior:

** SPECIAL **
Every time a character takes an action, it must roll Flat-Foot Dodge (Reaction) to avoid being caught in the webs and twists of web that the spider has laid out across the intersection, DC 100. If a character fails to meet this roll, it takes a -10 to all actions, and this effect DOES stack (If you fail once, -10. If you fail twice, -20 total, if thrice, -30... etc.), and if the character does fail the roll, it may still act but with this new negative. A botch incurs -10 and a loss of current action.

If there is a webbed enemy (If more than one webbed enemy, only roll those that are webbed. if only one, the spider automatically attacks the webbed enemy):
1, 2: Bite: The spider skitter-skitters to attack a webbed enemy, lunging forward with its massive teeth to attack. (1d130+60, Acute "Disease" Status Effect)
3, 4, 5: Claw: The spider lunges forward to stab an enemy with one of its claws. (1d140+65, 5000 damage)

If there is no webbed enemy:
1: Web Shot: The tarantula shoots a hardened mass of web at an enemy. (1d130+60, Knockdown, 4000 damage)
2: Web Wrap: The tarantula attempts to grab an enemy and spin them in web. (1d120+55, incurs status depicted above)
3: Parasite Flame: The tarantula ejects a large amount of web across the field towards an enemy, which immediately bursts into flame from Parasite energy. (1d140+65; if successful, roll 1d2 for round duration, 6000 magical damage per round and Moderate "Burning" status.)
