Name
Covenant Hunter

Reward:
6 xp (1st run)
(2nd run)
Hunter Card (Extreme Challenge)

Description:The largest creature in the entire Covenant Army, the Hunters stand at twelve and a half feet tall and are built similarly to Elites. Their armor is a special alloy and polymer mix that holds in their true being -- that of a colony of special sentient worms that forms their body inside the armor. Hunters actually have their weapons bonded into the arms of their powerful armor, are very slow moving, and could probably do brain surgery with the precision of their cannons.

The worst part?

There are two of them.

Covenant Hunters operate in pairs called Bond Brothers, which are actually the same colony of worms that simply grew too large to occupy a single set of armor. Dividing themselves into half, the two Covenant Hunters operate on the same thought pattern, of the same consciousness, which allows for a great sense of teamwork.

** SPECIAL **
The Covenant Hunter is an extremely tough opponent with unusual armor. Because of this, it's possible -- and necessary -- to remove the armor itself before actually causing damage to the Hunter. The armor will come off in large chunks to reveal the Hunter's 'body' beneath.

To remove the Hunter's armor, simply attack a specific portion of its body enough to destroy it. The shield it carries must be broken before the chest/stomach or head armor can be destroyed. Once the armor is removed, the damage accrued to that portion of the Hunter is affected by its 'Body' stats.
