Name
Alto Angelo (Order of the Sword Captain)

Reward:
6 xp (1st run)
Holy War Trial (One-Use Item: When used, roll 1d100: 50+ = 1d3 rounds of invincibility for 3 targets) (2nd run)
Faith Shield (Extreme Challenge): Sapphire Shield with 20% darkness resist

Description: The Alto Angelo, encased in glorious golden and ivory armor, stands at almost eight feet tall with wide shoulders, a heavy posture, and a presence that intimidates even the blackest hearts. This soldier wields an oversized bastard sword with its right hand, and a tall shield about five feet from top to bottom in its left hand. Unlike the Bianco Angelo, this soldier's shield is typically resting on its back, allowing the beautiful, magical shield to whisk the soldier into the air.

The Alto Angelo ("High Angel") is a knight of the Order of the Sword who has become a demon through the Order's "Ascension" ceremony, and has donned the armor of the Bianco Angelo in order to lead them in battle. Despite this, it still wields a standard Order sword, albeit much larger. It is able to command the Bianco Angelos to attack in formation, and can empower them with greater strength. As such, they commonly appear with several Bianco Angelos.

Weapon of Choice:
Sword
Shield

HP: 50,000
MP: 0
Physical Soak: 5000
Mental Soak: 5000

Dodge Roll: 1d140+67 block + counterattack, 1d120+57 dodge

Attack Behavior:
1, 2: Sword Combo (1d150+70, 1d3 hits, 6000 damage)
3: Cleave (1d150+70, all targets, 6000 damage)
4: Call for Backup (1d3: 1 Bianco Angelo, 2 Bianco Angelos, Alto Angelo)

** SPECIAL **
The Alto Angelo is an extremely formidable opponent, and its shield is no normal one. With this shield, the Alto Angelo can and will block magical, projectile, and energy attacks as well as melee attacks on its person.

In addition to this, the Alto Angelo will automatically attempt to counterattack any blocked melee attacks to it with a single attack with its sword. (1d110+50, 2000 damage).

The Alto Angelo does not suffer from the same 'stagger' effect as the Bianco Angelo, even if its 'Block' roll is defeated, nor does it have the same maneuverability issues. THis one will have to be taken on and defeated straight-on.
