Name
Tonberry

Reward:
3 xp(1st run)
Tonberry Lantern (2500 credits)(2nd run)
Tonberry Card (Extreme Challenge): Everybody's Grudge - Mystical flames envelope the target, causing unsoakable damage equal to the bonus of their last roll * 100. 200 mp.

Description: The Tonberry stands at about three feet tall, a green creature that wears a fashionable burlap-appearing coat with a black sash around the middle. It has a slightly pointed muzzle with bright yellow eyes hidden in the shadow of the hood of its coat, with only the point of its muzzle sticking out. It has rounded appendages with short, stubby fingers and indistinguishable toes. In its left hand it holds an old-fashioned oil lantern with glass walls and a handle at the top, while its right hand remains hidden inside of its coat.

The Tonberry is an ancient, semi-sentient creature that roams the most ancient ruins of the world. While its origins are unknown, it is rumored that the Tonberry is an agent and administrator of universal karma, expending the will of the Lifestream to individuals based on their previous actions. The source of its power is mythical as well, but it's known to come upon a group of travelers and maim only a select few, then simply walk away from the others.

Attack Behavior (1d4):

4: Everybody's Grudge - The Tonberry waves its lantern towards an opponent, and a surreal purple flame shoots up in the lantern before bursting forth to surround a target. (1d90+43 vs. base Willpower. If successful, take 100 damage per point of experience beyond current starting experience (1000).)

** SPECIAL **
The Tonberry begins the confrontation an area away from its opponent. It takes 10 'Approach' actions for the Tonberry to get within striking range of its target. Everybody's Grudge can be executed at anytime.
