About the Region

Lake Jyun is a large lake in the center of the island. Large shipping lanes run from the uptown dock to a channel leading out to the ocean. There is also a smaller channel which leads to a lake deeper inland, a common fishing spot. In the main body of the lake, numerous islands dot the center of the lake, including the Jyun Subgate and Bonne Island.

Shipping Channel

Located on the northwestern part of the island is a large and deep channel designed for larger tankers to move to and from the docks. The salt water channel is generally fairly empty and has been artificially cleared of dangerous debris on the ocean surface. Several defenses have been put in place against pirate attacks, including numerous defense turrets on the sides of the channel.

Lake Jyun

Lake Jyun is a fairly large body of water (referred to as 'the bay' by locals) where a large amount of local fishing occurs. The water is deep enough to allow for super tankers, although the only dock is the one at Uptown. Due to the shipping channel, the water is salt water, and some large fish have been sighted in the bay.

Lake Jyun Basin

The basin is south of the main body of Lake Jyun, a small lake surrounded by forrest and mostly uninhabited except for several cottages. Beyond foot paths, no physical roads run to this location, requiring the operators to use boats (mostly docked at the marina, though Wily's Boat Shop offers rentals). The area is a notable fishing spot, and numerous people try their luck at catching a legendary fish.

Bonne Island

The Bonne Island is a large body formation of islands located in the center of Lake Jyun where the Bonnes established a base of operations during their raid on Kattleox Island. Crude, but effective, the island features a large concealed airship dock, naval dock, refractor generator and minor computer systems. The facility has been unused for years, and lacks the touch of a modern or formal setup, definitely a fixer upper

Status

Power: Offline
(Provides power to the base)

Defenses: Offline
(Provides defense in the event of attack)

Hydraulic Pumps: Offline
(Provides pressure to open the large doors for the docks)

B1/B2:

Airship Dock

Concealed below a hidden hatch in the ground of the island is a massive open area designed for housing the Bonne fleet. The area is a large open pit with catwalks lining the B1 upper walls. The main floor is on B2 itself, with several maintenance troughs running under the floor. The dock is large enough to hold the several large cruiser ships or one capital cruiser.

B3: Quarters

Small rooms with beds and bathrooms line the 3rd level. Its not quite certain why the Bonnes populated the base with so many beds, but they are nothing to write home about (though spacious)

B4:

Naval Dock

A large tunnel concealed by a movable rock in the side of the island. The naval dock is a dry dock, two concrete piers on either side of a flooded channel of water with several boom cranes suspended in the walls. Large round skull emblems dot the equipment, though much of it is rusted beyond use. Stairwells with valve hatch doors provide access to the other levels, and numerous lockers and mooring stations line the piers.

B5: Mechanical

The B5 level houses the ventilation and power systems which provide functionality to the base, as well as hydraulic pressure to the bases many systems and water filtration. The refractor core is at the center of this level. For the most part, the area is a maze of mechanical pathways and large pumping equipment, and actually goes fairly low below sea level.
