Divine Arcana
Level 0:
Light (5 mp, 5 SpP): The user is able to place a bright, shining light on the end of an object to make it shine like a torch. This spell is able to illuminate (Mage Level) Areas around the user. It is able to negate some low-light penalties and provide sight through some status effects.
Resistance (5 mp, 5 SpP): Target gains +5 to Health Checks/Endurance Checks (vs. statuses, toxins, etc.), as well as +5 Magic Defense vs. mental manipulation, illusions, etc.
Virtue (5 mp, 5 SpP): Grants a single target additional, temporary Hit Points. The value is equal to the caster's spell damage, but these hit points dissipate in 5 rounds. This does not immediately heal a target, but instead expands its Max HP temporarily.
Spark (5 mp, 5 SpP): Allows the caster to ignite flammable objects. This function grows more powerful as a character's mage level increases; the Level 0 version is equivalent to using flint and steel, so as the character progresses, its Mage Level determines how potent its Spark is. A master mage may be able to ignite rocket fuel inside an engine.

History:
An exiled angel, Bartleby is searching for a loophole to go back to heaven or a way to get revenge (possibly ending existence). Meanwhile, he makes the best of his time. He enjoys tempting humans into damnation, but is also very kind. Detached, deeply cynical, and disillusioned, he is sick and tired of being away from God’s holy presence. He also hates God.

Divine Arcana
Level 0:
Light (5 mp, 5 SpP): The user is able to place a bright, shining light on the end of an object to make it shine like a torch. This spell is able to illuminate (Mage Level) Areas around the user. It is able to negate some low-light penalties and provide sight through some status effects.
Resistance (5 mp, 5 SpP): Target gains +5 to Health Checks/Endurance Checks (vs. statuses, toxins, etc.), as well as +5 Magic Defense vs. mental manipulation, illusions, etc.
Virtue (5 mp, 5 SpP): Grants a single target additional, temporary Hit Points. The value is equal to the caster's spell damage, but these hit points dissipate in 5 rounds. This does not immediately heal a target, but instead expands its Max HP temporarily.
Spark (5 mp, 5 SpP): Allows the caster to ignite flammable objects. This function grows more powerful as a character's mage level increases; the Level 0 version is equivalent to using flint and steel, so as the character progresses, its Mage Level determines how potent its Spark is. A master mage may be able to ignite rocket fuel inside an engine.
Level 1:
Cause Fear (10 mp, 10 SpP): This spell substitutes a character's Magic roll for an Intimidate check vs. wild animals or monsters.
Level 3:
Continual Flame (90 mp, 20 SpP): The character is able to give a torch-like radiance to a single object. This effect is permanent until dispelled, and is able to illuminate (Mage Level) Areas or less to reduce or remove low-light penalties.
Level 4:
Holy Smite (160 mp, 30 SpP): The character is able to strike a target with pure Holy energy. This attack deals +2000 Holy magic damage at range, and against Undead-, Dark-, and Devil/Demon-type characters, inflicts Acute "Blind" status for 5 rounds.
