Heavy Weapons

The modern "heavy weapon" is generally very large and extremely powerful. These firearms have the ability to take down large creatures, vehicles, or swarms of smaller creatures -- including a field of soldiers -- with near impunity. These weapons are as varied and unique as they come, and some will even be used with the skill on-the-fly.

The following weapons are directly affected by Heavy Weapons: anti-vehicle launchers, machine guns, assault weapons, and grenades.

Grenadier
Cost: 30 SP
Level Required: 3

Type: Bonus
Effect: +250 damage from Grenades. This does not affect status effects.

Suppression Tracking
Cost: 60 SP
Level Required: 4
Prerequisites: None
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: Reduces the Suppressing Fire penalty to targetting something directly by half, making it -10.

Bomber
Cost: 120 SP
Level Required: 6
Prerequisites: Grenadier
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: Upgrades Grenadier bonus to +500 damage effect of Grenades. This does not affect status effects.

Max Effect
Cost: 160 SP
Level Required: 7

Type: Bonus
Effect: Automatically sets the status effect durations of grenades to maximum, negating the 1d5 roll for some.

Fusillade
Cost: 200 SP
Level Required: 8
Prerequisites: Suppression Tracking
Untrained: No.
Type: Bonus
Effect: Removes the Suppressing Fire penalty to targetting specific enemies from weapons that use the Heavy Weapons skill.

Rapid Reload
Cost: 400 SP
Level Required: 10
Prerequisites: None
Untrained: No.
Type: Action
Effect: Removes the reloading period for all heavy weapons, allowing constant or consecutive use of weapons without the need to reload or break suppressing fire.
