<<>Character Background<>>
History: (Maximillion has always been a vigilante of sorts, fighting for those who need it and fighting against those who seek to oppress others. While noble deeds by themselves, he tends to let his anger flare in such a way that makes people often think he is a cruel, evil man.

Unlike the legendary White Knight, he has no real intention of restoring order to a kingdom, or fighting on the side of some God. He believes in living his own life and will fight anything that stands in the way of his own personal choice.

During his time in an enchanted place called Tyran's Cove, Maximillion earned the respect of the citizens there by training some of the more inexperienced magi in the forms of Advanced Magicks, as well as opening a Barracks and Training Hall for those interested in joining the Tyran Army, or learning the ways of the Martial Arts. He became so popular that he was even Knighted by the King and Queen at that time, though under one of his many aliases.

As time went on, however, he felt a need to have a change of pace and continued to change his name every decade or so, letting only a select few of his new identities, which included the Royal Family of Tyran at that time.

Many centuries later, Tyran was hit by an onslaught of three creatures which had originally come to this land claiming peace. One of them was the Lady Dawn of the Stars, who was renowned for her abilities in Healing and Light Magicks.

The other was a demon by the name of Baracus, who had never made any pretenses of peace. Since his time there, he had made himself known by posing as a peasant amongst those who didn't know his true identity until he had attained whatever he went there for, then would do away with those who he had served under in his mortal form.

The latter, Emerald, was an Queen of a foreign land known as the Emerald Kingdoms. She, however, had remained a very peaceable status until the onslaught, referred to by Historians as The Age of the Warring Gods.

Maximillion grabbed those he could and took them under cover, then took up arms against the oncoming "Gods" as they had proclaimed themselves. He was able to hold off the demon Baracus for a very long time indeed, until his other companions sensed the clashing energies and intervened. He was then forced to retreat, and Tyran's Cove fell into the hands of the ancient tyrants.

Tyran's Cove, now simply called "Tyran", eventually rebuilt itself, though many feared the powers of these new "Gods". The Lady Dawn proclaimed herself the Mother Goddess and Baracus her son, while Emerald remained without a real affiliation, but was allowed to remain at her side. There were Laws decreed that those within the Kingdom of Tyran had to worship these powerful creatures, or face devestating consequences.

Forced into subservience by their tyrannical rule, they followed as they were ordered. All save for two powerful Mystics.

One was a Necromancer, or at least so they said. He wore an ancient armour that had the power to absorb and re-use Arcane Energy, as well as inflict damage brought on it unto the offender.

Death, as he called himself, opposed the Gods to his finest. He would pose as a subservient amongst the other citizens, but would still plot to get the tyrannical beings thrown out of power. He lacked the power to do this, so he sought out the aid of one whose reputation had far preceded him...

None other than the dhampire Lord Maximillion, whose knowledge of the Arcane Arts, Martial Arts and Tactical Arts had earned him as much of a reputation as his rebellious attitude had. Together, they teamed up to try and do what they could to bring down the powerful beings that stood between their people and freedom.

Unfortunately, the gods caught wind of their plot and went for them. In a heroic act seemingly unlike the dhampire, Maximillion swore to the Gods that he was the one responsible for the plot and that Lord Death had simply been led along for his own gain.

Faced with the decision of speaking up and being banished, or remaining behind to continue their work on the homefront, Lord Death played along.

Emerald then confronted Maximillion, telling him that they possessed the power to give, and end life. Maximillion defied her words to the end, until he was finally set outside the boundary line for Tyran and banished from returning ever, upon the threat of Death.

Entering now into the Kingdom of Shadowmire, Maximillion was establishing a reputation, but hardly had he earned the rank of Lord in this land until a spiteful witch by the name of Athena rose up against him and declared him a traitor.

She had stashed several forged official documents in his Suite at the Inn, and had led the entire procession up into the room, then showed everyone the documents, claiming that the dhampire Lord was planning on trying to take it over.

Fearing another occurance like that in the former Tyran's Cove, Maximillion simply bowed out and make his exit from that land, which he heard many years later that the Witch who had tried to see him killed for Treason had ended up somehow causing the downfall of the entire kingdom. Though he wept, he remained strong and pushed forward in his endeavours.

Maximillion eventually met back up with his father, Alucard, who had already established a kingdom by the name of Darnassus, in the hidden Realm of Shi'Kharath.

While in an entirely different dimension than Tyran, the dhampire was able to maintain contacts between both planes, always going back to Tyran under different aliases and hiding his identity. He was able to rally up enough support to get trade flowing between the two Kingdoms, and all became well in the Realm of Shi'Kharath.

Until the tyrant rulers of Tyran heard of this land.

They did everything they could to cease trade. They raised taxes on the citizens, killed off Lords on false charges of siding with the dhampire Prince, as well as even trying to enter the Realm under other identities, though they were quickly spotted and done away with.

While Maximillion lacked the power at this time to do away with them, his father had powers beyond belief and was able to defeat all three of them and send them back to their own dimension without even breaking a sweat.

After that day, Maximillion was determined to become as powerful as his father, and one day even surpass him. While that day was a long time coming, it finally did. Unfortunately, the events afterwards caused any rejoicing to turn to sorrow.

Alucard, who by now was well over a Millennia old, was tired of ruling. He was bored with life and wanted to be done with it, so he challenged Maximillion to a duel to determine who would rule the kingdom.

They both fought hard, using every power, attack and skill they had at their disposal to do it. Even though Alucard did not want to be Leader anymore, he wanted to be sure Maximillion was up to the task before leaving him to it. Sure enough, after their duel waged onwards for three days, Maximillion laid the defeating blow to his father.

Bowing to his son, he praised him and told him how proud he was, then departed, leaving Maximillion successor to the Throne.

Now, Maximillion seeks to rebuild Darnassus and make it back into the wonderous Kingdom it once was. Now that he himself possesses powers far beyond that of his father, he hopes to free the citizens of Tyran from the tyrannical rule of the creatures who run it, and give the people the kind of home they've always dreamed of, as well as making sure the citizens of Darnassus remain well and content.

Since growing bored of ruling his own land, as his father did before him, he has left it in the capable hands of his Daughter, who is now ruling the land as no other has. He has long been a patron of the Black Dragon Inn, and has done his best to remain obscured, though rumours of "Maximillion the Malevolent" have travelled through this strange new land.

Training (If any): Various styles of hand-to-hand combat training (Various Dojos, as well as the Mung Sho Monastary), Acrobatics (Archibald's School of Acrobatics), Tumbling (Circus), Contortionism (Self-Taught), Swordsmanship (his father), Smithing (his father), Crafting (self-taught).
