History:
Chauncey homes the LOD world in the aftermath of the Legend of dragoon. He is currently 16...its finally safe roam again. He homes from the city of Lohan where his father was a medical physicion (The one that diagnosed Shana needed the Dragoni plant to survive at one point in the game) and his mother an inn keeper. She often told him stories of warriors with great strength and how a bright future would come of there work. At the time he was a simple on looker and didnt believe in much of the tales...untell. Talks of monsters and the world ending may have scared others but not Chauncey.
He needed something to believe in and started to feel that If he had to do it with just his own two hands he make sure to survive. He started to wander from home going on his own adventures advancing his skill fighting the creatures and fauna of the landscape. Then one day he started to hear a rumor. A dragon had awakened...and was causing havoc around the country side.
Villagers and towns people where encouraged not to wander. Its roar was said to rip the earth and crush mountains it was said to have no breath merely open its mouth and that was all but the last images a man would see where its ...clear eyes. CHauncey however didnt believe the rumors. 'The dragons are gone' he always said before he leave the gates and continue exploreing. He found himself walking the countryside late at night when he heard the roar.
The area shook as he ran toward it. Suddenly a massive form landed before him his gaze widened as its wingspan blanketed the night sky. A clear eyed dragon...who brought with it ...such great force. Its diamond like eyes gazed down at him as he gazed at it. He wasnt scared..but he knew he couldnt fight such a thing in this open field. He heads into the forest where he can use the trees and brush to his advantage. The mountain caves where not to far off using the night to his advantage he tried to strike at the creatures hide. He found its hide to hard.
A massive roar raged threw the forest as he felt is body be taken by its sheer force sending him hurtling into the air. In the wake of the moonlight the beast rose and like a bullet burst toward him batting him back toward the countrysides ground. He hit the ground rolling already regretting his mistake. "Can I really make it out of this....." he wondered to himself. He gathered his willpower and rose to his feet. He tilted his head to the mountains. "Well..it did get me here faster....though my body isnt to happy with it." he starts to dash adrenline overriding the pain moving inside.
The dragons claws can be heard quickly following into the darkness. Chauncey had homefield advantage now he knew these caves inside and out from childhood. He worked his way around it to the outside. He followed the dragons breathing toward the a gap in the cave from above. There he tossed his lance at a stalaglite causing it it to shake but his lance got stuck instead. The dragon noticed and turned its head instictively its jaws gaped open. There was a mild rumble before the ground below Chauncey's feet gave way and he hit the cave floor.
He backs up a littile as the dragons head neers him. The moonlight shines into the cave giving enough light for the two to gaze at one another. The dragon roars but despite not having his weapon he rises to his feet. His eyes look to his lance the roaring causing cracking. "Thats it? Thats all you got!" he exclaims as he chucks a rock at it. The rock makes impact and the dragon backs off a littile shocked more than anything this mere human had the audicity. It found it somewhat appealing..however there was no way it would just back off.
It roared again...the sound of cracking above its back could be heard. Chauncey grabbed one more rock and chucked it at the lance. It hit the back of it and was just enough force to cause the final cracks to take place. The stalaglite fell downward on the dragons back causing it to hit the ground with a roar its body squirmed about its hide was to strong to be broken...but it was downed from the weight. Its eyes looked up at the human with a bit of sadness 'bested by a human' it thought to itself.
Chauncey felt relieved at first and then sighed. "Why do I wanna let you go..you didnt actully do anything to me...and I started with you didnt I..." he moved to his lance and used it as a pully system to get the massive stone off. The dragon rose again and roared the backwall of the mountain breaked off. It turned and gazed down at the young warrior....it beared no animosity to him....the base of its mouth patting him against the head. "...It sounds like this is all squared out now.............what..." he started to walk out holding his shoulder that rush started to die now. "Your a dragon....Im not sure how the heck you survived but....if you can understand me..there arent any dragons left...." The dragon's pace paused and it looked down with a great sadness. The night had only just began...a meeting between two beings has ended in the forming of feint bonds.
"Well you see to understand what I am saying...." he folds his arms. The dragon sits down its reflective scales giving off a reflective shine in the moonlight. It growled slightly agreeing with him. "This is gonna be tough I mean..your probubly only acting out...or something. I wonder where the hell youve been all this time..either way people arent gonna take a dragon runnen around lightly...more or less probubly hunt you." The dragon rises its eyes blink and it curls its head back as if to say 'let them try' "Hey hey easy there ...Im thinken here..."
In the debts of the cave from there earlier confrontation something was stirring,...waking....a large number of eyes began to open. The sounds of crawling could be heard all about. Spiders...they where stirred by the commotion the twos brief confrontation had brought about. The quickly started to crawl rise and surface the sounds they maid sending a chill down Chauncey's spine.
Instinctively they began to crawl out of the caves in massive numbers. It roared feeling threated move to confront them. A battle ensued with the dragon easily having the upper hand with its sheer power. But there where so many they made there way on its hide and began biting him injecting the dragon with poisen. Chauncey began to bat them away left and right but he couldnt get them all quickly they continued to inject poisen. Bt the time they where done the dragon had sustained some minor injuries its scales could not save it from something that could get beneath it. He jumped down unaware of the poison which had yet to take its tole on the dragon. "That was great!" he said patting it. A brief instance of laughter went threw the air before something wrapped around his leg. It was webbing...
Chauncey's body was suddenly yanked backward by a surviving spider it was to strong and he dropped his lance. Just before it could bite him as its fangs appeared it was swept away by the force of the dragons roar. But it was just long enough for chauncey to notice the poison that came from its mouth. With the roar more began to come thats when Chauncey also noticed a much larger 8 legged entity in the cave. He started to jump on the dragons back. "That thing in the cave there coming from there!" He shouted the dragon turned its head its eyes gazed withen the smaller army of creatures where getting closer the dragon opened its mouth a trail of kinteic energy started to gathered. In a few momments a burst of force with trailing lightning lunged across the ground toward the inside o the cave opening. There was a loud screech before the creature died. Its children suddenly stopped moving and killed over...a lucky break...
"Alright! We did it we did it!" he jumped off the dragon and looked up to it. It gave out a loud roar as if in victory before its body fell to the ground. His eyes widened as he ran to its stomach. He put his hands to it ..he could feel the dragons heartbeat slowing the poisen was starting to take its tole and the dragons moving didnt help it It had already reached its heart. Chauncey knew he could make an antidote but it had been bitten so many times there was no way he could make it large enough for the creature... He ran to its head and kneeled...he knew it didnt have much time left. "Im sorry...If we never met...I." he eyes water "....Just because I wanted to be some lame hero.......this isnt ...like a hero at all..." the dragons eyes look to the human its mouth opens. Chauncey was thinking that this was revenge ...if he was blown away by its force it be a fitting end for the trouble he caused it. But instead he found its tounge licking his face. He blinked...
And then there was silence its eyes slowly closed. "........" he wiped his eyes "...Thank you for saving me..." he spoke those words knowing no answer would come. "I just wish there was something I could have done in return..." as he says those words there is a shining aurora that starts to fill the area. The dragons body starts to fade away into particles forming a small diamond crystal with gold wrings rapped around it. It was kinda like an egg...it feel into his hands. "What do I....what do I do with this..." he wondered as he looked up to the moonlight..
The dragons body soon faded and he found himself with no need to mark the place the dragon had died. Putting the diamond marble in his pocket he turned to head to the forest only to be approached by a hooded figured. He spoke in a strange voice (syntesizer tech unknown to that world) and drew a katana wishing to obtain the dragoon spirit. Having just saved his life he believed this was something the dragon entrusted him with to repay the debt he was not willing to let it go. After several attempts to defeat the being he found himself attempting to run when he tried to a purple light flooded over his body and transported him to a far away land....with many people standing before him...Eden.
Personality
Chauncey is the kinda guy that likes to live on the edge. A thrill seeker of sorts. The more danger the more alive he feels. He wont do anything vastly stupid but he tends to 'push it' as far as he can. He can be rather rash, cocky, and very overconfident in himself. He is however truthful to a fault and often reliable to help people if they need it. The fact he took the time to learn medicine seems to allude to that care for life. He respects the balance of life and tends to be at odds with people who often put it into question.
Diamond Eyed Dragon

A legendary beast whose place in existance has been forgotten. It did not fight in the great war...had it some say the tide may have changed. It was aligned with no dragoon. During this time it was in a state of slumber and has awaken hundreds of years later in a time and place it does not understand. It roars across the countryside seeking..such ..understanding..
Notable Accomplishments: Competent user of a lances and varied polearms and swords. Competent physician to some degrees

Weapon Name: Lance of Loginus
After breaking his own lance in a battle with a several wild creatures he toiled endlessly to find a new one. While in town he found a barter who in his keep had a mysterious lance that echoed to be used. In exchange for all the stardust Chauncey could find he was able to obtain the lance. Its long and silver with the ability to retract in when not in use. It seems to be made of the stardust ironically the same substance he battered it for.

Force Crusher - A controled surge of destructive kinetic force against a single opponent used by either slamming or waving his lance vertically or horizontally. Or by simply raising his hand. 50 MP *2 Mod ontop of a physical damage
Level 2 Reactive Defense
Wave Render - Wave render has the ability to create barriers infront of people that have the power to stop inertia at a grinding halt repelling powerful attacks.

Cosmic Buster
A gathering of kinetic energy. Chauncey rises high up in the air using his lance as the centerpoint for gathering energy before descending to the ground and slamming the base of his lance against it. A surge of kinetic lightning and force is released that explodes outward like a dome before becoming beam like and striking at everything
against him.
Level 4
Crystal Surge
Chauncey smashes his fist into the ground causing the ground to shake for a momment before a surge of diamond like shards travels forward breaking threw the area from different directions the poses to break,rip, and impale beings whole.
Level 5
Force's Kin - Reactive Defense
A powerful burst of force is released as shards of diamond appear before chauncey spreading out across the party. A surge of kinetic energy bursts threw each before they form a dome like prismatic barrier to protect the party as a whole from what would be a major attack. After taking such a hit a diamond like dust falls downward showiner the party increasing there defense/magic defense a degree for a while.
Level 6
Cosmic Will
Chauncey's dragoon wings become energy like as he raises his weapon infront of him twirling it around for a moment. Diamond starts to appear floating around its edge as bits of lightning link these called up forms together. Waves of force begin building around his body before surges forward toward his target. He passes them right by heading high up into the sky where he raises his lance above his head and hurls it back down toward the ground. The diamonds break off as if to have become a gun chamber for it and fire it off a second time like a rail cannon. A loud 'boom' sounds off the final burst as the lance goes to impale what stood before Chauncey the force leaving a small crater in the ground in its wake.

Diamond Eye Dragon
Chauncey's dragon spirit is summoned to the battlefield. A dragon of the force element it wields the power over force itself. Its legendary ferocity is that of old legend. It appears from the sky in a massive roar that shakes the area. Energy begins to gather along its hide as it gives off a prismatic glow. It spreads its wings outward and in one massive wingbeat it opens its jaws a burst of raw force and energy surges forward toward all that oppose it's legendary will.

He shouted the dragon turned its head its eyes gazed withen the smaller army of creatures where getting closer the dragon opened its mouth a trail of kinteic energy started to gathered. In a few momments a burst of force with trailing lightning lunged across the ground toward the inside o the cave opening. There was a loud screech before the creature died. Its children suddenly stopped moving and killed over...a lucky break...
"Alright! We did it we did it!" he jumped off the dragon and looked up to it. It gave out a loud roar as if in victory before its body fell to the ground. His eyes widened as he ran to its stomach. He put his hands to it ..he could feel the dragons heartbeat slowing the poisen was starting to take its tole and the dragons moving didnt help it It had already reached its heart. Chauncey knew he could make an antidote but it had been bitten so many times there was no way he could make it large enough for the creature... He ran to its head and kneeled...he knew it didnt have much time left. "Im sorry...If we never met...I." he eyes water "....Just because I wanted to be some lame hero.......this isnt ...like a hero at all..." the dragons eyes look to the human its mouth opens. Chauncey was thinking that this was revenge ...if he was blown away by its force it be a fitting end for the trouble he caused it. But instead he found its tounge licking his face. He blinked...
And then there was silence its eyes slowly closed. "........" he wiped his eyes "...Thank you for saving me..." he spoke those words knowing no answer would come. "I just wish there was something I could have done in return..." as he says those words there is a shining aurora that starts to fill the area. The dragons body starts to fade away into particles forming a small diamond crystal with gold wrings rapped around it. It was kinda like an egg...it feel into his hands. "What do I....what do I do with this..." he wondered as he looked up to the moonlight..
The dragons body soon faded and he found himself with no need to mark the place the dragon had died. Putting the diamond marble in his pocket he turned to head to the forest only to be approached by a hooded figured. He spoke in a strange voice (syntesizer tech unknown to that world) and drew a katana wishing to obtain the dragoon spirit. Having just saved his life he believed this was something the dragon entrusted him with to repay the debt he was not willing to let it go. After several attempts to defeat the being he found himself attempting to run when he tried to a purple light flooded over his body and transported him to a far away land....with many people standing before him...Eden.
Personality
Chauncey is the kinda guy that likes to live on the edge. A thrill seeker of sorts. The more danger the more alive he feels. He wont do anything vastly stupid but he tends to 'push it' as far as he can. He can be rather rash, cocky, and very overconfident in himself. He is however truthful to a fault and often reliable to help people if they need it. The fact he took the time to learn medicine seems to allude to that care for life. He respects the balance of life and tends to be at odds with people who often put it into question.
Diamond Eyed Dragon

A legendary beast whose place in existance has been forgotten. It did not fight in the great war...had it some say the tide may have changed. It was aligned with no dragoon. During this time it was in a state of slumber and has awaken hundreds of years later in a time and place it does not understand. It roars across the countryside seeking..such ..understanding..

Weapon Name: Lance of Loginus
After breaking his own lance in a battle with a several wild creatures he toiled endlessly to find a new one. While in town he found a barter who in his keep had a mysterious lance that echoed to be used. In exchange for all the stardust Chauncey could find he was able to obtain the lance. Its long and silver with the ability to retract in when not in use. It seems to be made of the stardust ironically the same substance he battered it for.

Force Crusher - A controled surge of destructive kinetic force against a single opponent used by either slamming or waving his lance vertically or horizontally. Or by simply raising his hand. 50 MP *2 Mod ontop of a physical damage
Level 2 Reactive Defense
Wave Render - Wave render has the ability to create barriers infront of people that have the power to stop inertia at a grinding halt repelling powerful attacks.
Level 3
Cosmic Buster
A gathering of kinetic energy. Chauncey rises high up in the air using his lance as the centerpoint for gathering energy before descending to the ground and slamming the base of his lance against it. A surge of kinetic lightning and force is released that explodes outward like a dome before becoming beam like and striking at everything
against him.
Level 4
Crystal Surge
Chauncey smashes his fist into the ground causing the ground to shake for a momment before a surge of diamond like shards travels forward breaking threw the area from different directions the poses to break,rip, and impale beings whole.
Level 5
Force's Kin - Reactive Defense
A powerful burst of force is released as shards of diamond appear before chauncey spreading out across the party. A surge of kinetic energy bursts threw each before they form a dome like prismatic barrier to protect the party as a whole from what would be a major attack. After taking such a hit a diamond like dust falls downward showiner the party increasing there defense/magic defense a degree for a while.
Level 6
Cosmic Will
Chauncey's dragoon wings become energy like as he raises his weapon infront of him twirling it around for a moment. Diamond starts to appear floating around its edge as bits of lightning link these called up forms together. Waves of force begin building around his body before surges forward toward his target. He passes them right by heading high up into the sky where he raises his lance above his head and hurls it back down toward the ground. The diamonds break off as if to have become a gun chamber for it and fire it off a second time like a rail cannon. A loud 'boom' sounds off the final burst as the lance goes to impale what stood before Chauncey the force leaving a small crater in the ground in its wake.
Level 7 Summoning
Diamond Eye Dragon
Chauncey's dragon spirit is summoned to the battlefield. A dragon of the force element it wields the power over force itself. Its legendary ferocity is that of old legend. It appears from the sky in a massive roar that shakes the area. Energy begins to gather along its hide as it gives off a prismatic glow. It spreads its wings outward and in one massive wingbeat it opens its jaws a burst of raw force and energy surges forward toward all that oppose it's legendary will.
