History:
First Sergeant Sarros grew up hearing about the fighting and the wars going onacross the world. Determined to make a difference he trained with his friends and enlisted in the army just after his eighteenth birthday. He spent the next year going through training and preparing himself for protecting his country.
Once his training was complete he was immediately shipped out to battle. Early on in his assignment he got seperated from his battalion during an ambush while they were all pulling back. After spending over a day amrching towards where he believed the base camp was, he came across a large enemy force nearby, waiting for the next time the batallion left the base to attack. He managed to get away un-noticed, and when he found his group alerted them. In responce they sent out the group on a false mission, and when the enemy attacked, stuck from behind eliminating them.
Though magic was forbidden for the most part on the world, high ranked soldiers in his country were given basic knowledge on how to protect themselves if their enemies ever did use it against them. Though he eventually went through such training, he has personally shunned it. His feeling was that if magic was forbidden, soldiers should not be exempt from the rule.
As the years went by, he quickly proved his competance for leadership and moved up the ranks rather briskly. By the age of 29 he was promoted to First Sergeant, and assigned to be the top NCO of his own company of soldiers. Though this typically meant he was in a desk job then going out onto the field, he kept himself quite busy with the training of new soldiers, and keeping an eye open for other diamonds in the rough that had what it takes to make it in the army.
