Appearance: Rook stands a little above average height for a human, with a pretty ordinary build as well. His hair is of medium length, haphazardly combed back slightly in rows of brown with small streaks of peppery white strands throughout, although his face makes him look more on the younger side of this. He wears a formal military uniform that some might recognize as a SeeD uniform, however to others it is a simple makeup of pressed black pants tucked into laceless knee-high black boots. Atop that is a standard collared blazer with a black tunic with gold trim and maroon cuffs. He wears heavily tinted goggles around his neck and his eyes are covered by a tied strip of white cloth. There is slight indications of burn scarring around his eye sockets that peak through the corners of the blindfold.

History: Rook was born in the quiet town of Balamb to Patrik and Prescila Lona roughly twenty-six years before the Sorceress Incident. He grew up happy enough and soon grew ambitious and independent. When he turned fifteen he convinced his parents to let him attend Balamb Garden in hopes of one day becoming a member of their mercenary organization SeeD. He trained hard, and studied relentlessly and three years later was granted admittance. He was exemplary in many regards, more specifically in magic and took it upon himself to accept any mission he could as his ambition drove him on a journey that made him eager to see the world in all of it's splendor. He grew in the ranks quickly and years passed. However, soon after he turned twenty-five he suffered a major and irreversible accident when a transport vehicle he was riding exploded during an operation. He received minor burns to most of his body but his eyes and eye sockets received severe injury and rendered him blind. After this, due to his inability to perform his duties, he left SeeD and attended a rehabilitation clinic where he spent the next three years learning to cope with his disability. During this time he used his affinity for magic to help his spirit grow much stronger than normal. With this he developed a second sight, which allowed him to view the spirit patterns of those living beings around him. From here, he started to learn piano, and since then has worked as a bar and club pianist...until....
